the EA is from 4xgreed.com. It is theoretically good, but it is hard to find a broker who allows scalping in a 1 minute timeframe and who does not deliver only requotes. So success of this EA heavily depends on the broker. The main issue here is that you can't test it with a demo account. Demo always works fine with every broker. The real beef is on the real account and I don't want to open an account with all brokers. I will try maybe an ECN broker and stop then

IKOfx does not support scalping less than 2 minutes so this test is stopped.

maybe one could choose whether to post pips or profit per account. I use twitter to inform myself about a private twitter connection during the day, so in this case profit is more accurate.

It would probably be better to have a p/l total instead of npips total on twittere messages. I can make profit with negative pips! and profit is what counts...

first, just the grouping of accounts with a section per portfolio. Second, account resp portfolio value (which probably comes later) and overall gain over portfolio

The portfolio feature is great. It would be even greater if the dashboard would allow for a grouping and aggregation by portfolio.

It would be fine to have trade summary also splittable by magic no. this can be valuable if a trading system consists of serveral subsystems with different ids.

the main problem is that you often are already in a position when news come out, so you should turn if off 3 days before and as he have news with potential big impact almost every week (maybe not as NFP, but like CPI, home sales etc etc) you are out of the market 30-50%. My experience is that eurchf is much more suited to that style of trading; i trade it on my other accounts, slow but steady growth.

for those watching at this system: i had to close parts of my positions to prevent an early margin call. this is the classical issue with martingales like ILAN. now I am definitely in a situation where prices go persistently to the wrong direction and retracements are not big enough. if trends will persist like this my account will be closed (manually or forecfully) next week. as the next big support is somewhere at 1.4500, I will not have enough equity for this move.

for spikes: sometimes I disable the EA to prevent further trades, such as yesterday. it was only the 2nd time in 4 months.Related to pairs: on this account i only trade eurusd (as you can see in the summary), on my other accounts I mainly trade eurchf.

MAFIX opens buy orders at support levels or sell orders at resistance levels (at least it seems like that). if a profit target is hit it closes all trades of either BUY or SELL (but not both)

probable moves are spikes which can happen all the time (300 pips as last week, even if my account is slightly thin for this size). Less probable is 500+ pips without major retracement.The EA opens trades if the price goes to the "wrong" direction, that is controlled by pipstep and MaxTrades. so I am long but ILAn opend trades as prices dropped.

with ILAN you face 2 major risks:1. sudden spikes; here I have to optimize the settings to exclude the most probable moves. The rest is residual risk which only can be accepted by periodcally withdrawing money from the account.2. changes in trends: if a change in trend happens and a big retracement is unlikely I have to close the trades. this can be analyzed once a day or even every second day. here the analysis of fundamental data or information is important as well to identify the probability of a false reversal.

no both exp remains as they are. in what sense are your results different? they can vary depending on the point in time when you enter as ILAN takes the direction of the last bar and enters into that direction, so if you enter 1h later than me (and I sometimes enforece a first trade earlier by switching the timeframe and back) than you can have different results. but the long-term performance should be the same

btw: be aware that this is a martingale. sudden large moves can blow an account. so take care.
