fxgrowthbot, I wrote into support but didn't hear from them. If I want to run in the same account with 2 sets of settings will the trades conflict?Lets say I run 1 set of trades on 1 chart at default. Then run another chart with slightly tweaked settings or even a different timeframe. Will this confuse the EA? I don't see any way to enter a magic number so that this might not be possible.

I only had 1 trade:01.07.11 15:31 01.07.11 15:34 GBPUSD Buy 1.54820 Close 1.54920 Profit: 10.0 pipsThe eurusd trade before that was a 105 pip loss:01.06.11 11:55 01.06.11 18:37 EURUSD Buy 1.31170 Close 1.30120 Loss: -105.0 pipsDid anyone get that loss? Thing is that that trade is still open in their live account with a 228 pip open trade drawdown at the moment.EAs been stable past few days with no crashes or hangs.

About crashing MT4. I noticed during the week that if your MT4 crashes with LTP once. It will continue to do so often. After rebooting the VPS it became a lot more stable. It doesn't help if you quit the MT4 that crashed, it will continue to crash frequently until the VPS is restarted. This means it destabilized the OS! Fortunately the other MT4s kept running but who knows if they might take a massive SL.This could be difficult if there are other MT4 sessions running with other EAs with open trades. Just gotta be careful before rebooting.

OK it closed out the week well. I had 6 trades, 2 losses of about 65 pips. 4 winners with about 286 pips. This is with 0.01 lot size on my live FX Primus account. The winners won hands down. Going into the weekend with no trades open.I took the opportunity of having no trades open to increase the lot size and reboot the VPS. Next week I'll be trading live on FX Pro account also. Held off on FX Pro live trading first because the min lot size was 0.1 lots so if it takes a few hundred pips down it could be expensive.fxgrowthbot, Maybe you can confirm this. Hi Bilray,Brokers vary and everyone has a horror storry or two and people seldom agree. I've used 4 so far and here's my list of preference from best to worst:FX Pro (works well with the megadroid EAs), I'll start live trading on FX Pro next week with Forex Growth BotFX Primus tied with AAAFXForex.com (worst, NFA filed some kind of case against them for using some kind of plug in that created slippage in their favor, if you google that you should find it out there)Others that might also be OK:Alpari UKMB TradingGo marketsFXDDInterbankFxInterbankFx AU

I think they are using a different server for customers. The trade on their live account and some demo accounts I've seen are open. The live trade was closed. Signal likely came from their server because it did not hit the stop loss and my MT4 didn't crash, it was running nicely when the trade exited.And I've had occasional crashes, even 1 crash alone does not do much for confidence. Hmm, I'm impressed. I'm up about 20 pips in closed trades but the 2 open trades now are up 125 pips.Lets see how it handles the NFP news tonight.

Hmm, my LTP closed that last eurusd trade for a 105 pip loss. Lucky still testing with small lot sizes. Apparently what their live account is doing is not the same as what we're getting as a signal from them. Suspect it has a hidden SL or trailing stop managed on their end and it stops out after a hundred pips or so. But on their "live" to the public a/c they keep the trades open till it either hits the 330 pip SL or rebounds.The EA is fully functional and has not crashed so it closed that because of a signal from them. Stephen,The account info here on myfxbook is not real time. It updates every 5 mins so if you made a trade and compare it to what you see here you're not getting the real picture. If your trades are not executing try disabling all but 1 instance of LTP. Because you're connecting to their server to get trades. They know when you're using the same receipt code more than once. I had problems running 1 live and 1 demo account. In the end I ran it on the live account only. Seems to be stable and working now.

The EA opens and closes trades at close or open of 15 min candles. When there's an event like tonights NFP numbers where it moves big time. We could get lucky if it goes our way or very bad if it does not. The EA may not stop out until the next candle which isn't a good thing.

The report here updates every 5 mins. But the MT4 account investor PW is public info and that's live. Install the MT4 and you can follow the trades in real time.

When you install the first copy of MT4 it places it in a directory, something like FX Pro - Metatrader 4When you install the second copy of MT4, change the name and directory to something else, eg. FX Pro - Two

Hello Pip,Yes I run a different MT4 session for each LTP license. I find that running two instances of LTP in 1 MT4 will crash it. That's not difficult to do. You can run the MT4 installer many times and have many sessions of MT4 running up till you start to run into CPU and Memory problems. I find that a 512 MB RAM on a VPS can support 6 to 8 MT4 sessions no problem.You can open as many MT4 clients pointing to the same account as you want. I have 3 MT4s running 1 FX Pro account. 1 MT4 session for MD and pip laser, one each for each LTP EA license. Its more stable that way. If 1 goe...
