That is easily checked on your account. Open the EA properties and ensure that hedging is set to True. If it is than all is good. I currently only have 1 sell on the eur open at the moment and 5 buys however as the eur has fell it did open one other today that has already closed out with profit. So long story short I only have one buy and its only for .02 lots.

Hey Guys, not sure what the deal is with the updating. Am working on trying to figure that out. We are currently in a 1700.00 draw down for those who are interested. This is hardly a draw down at all for a 24k account so we are not trying to hide anything :). By the way, we would not hide it even if it was worse. We are all traders here and we know there are risks so no reason to hide anything. I will warn once again that as we get closer to the holidays you will want to decrease your RL as a precautionary measure.

I really dont think there are many people that had a version that was trading that large lot size. If they did it was months ago and would not have any bearing on any complaints made recently. Most of the complaints on this forum that I have dealt with privately have been operator error. In most cases they were trying to use it on a mini account or just flat out trading it on to many pairs or did not let it do its thing. In fact if you experienced the issue of to many lots please speak up. I cant imagine its more than a few people. I still do not know of any time that we had an ea that calcula...

I have an update for everyone. We have added the master accounts that the Tradency platform is trading with to the members area. You can see the open trades etc. on these master accounts. This will allow you to compare your current account to the master account. Keep in mind that these accounts are set to always start with one micro. Also we are working to get a forum up on the members area as well so that everyone can take part in this conversation not just those that know about myfxbook.

Hey Guys, I have a quick question for everyone. What does it take to get a five star rating from each of you. I have compared this strategy to many others with five stars and this one has performed much better with less draw down. You can always just open a second occurrence of the same pair which is what I do. that way I can look at other time frames on the second chart.

Nothing has changed in the programming. The market has just been rangebound which means steady profit but it tends to be smaller profit than when the market runs against us and builds multiple positions. It really is a questions of market range. We are up over 1% on the wpfx account and we have only had a few trading days in the month so Im not terribly worried. We closed last month out with 18.7% on that account so all seems to be clipping along just fine for now. I do expect smaller gains this month since we will be scaling back over the holidays.

To expand on why back testing does not work. When you back test you have to choose a time frame. TomsEA trades based of off different time frames depending on the entry. For example the first three entries are from the 1 minute however after that it moves to the 30 and then the 60. Due to the complexities of the EA no back test will ever be accurate. Dustin

lobotomy, I am not misleading anyone. Please make some attempt to remain professional rather than making accusations. The EA "should" trade minis to begin with on an account that has 100k. It doesnt do anyone any good for me to mislead you into thinking its working correctly if its not. Instead of adamantly suggesting that I am trying to mislead you lets find out what the issue is. fughe, As I said before, as much as I want to go point by point through your last comment I am not going to expend the effort to defend this. If you have questions or concerns with our products I am here but it is clear to me that you are passionately opinionated regarding our business practices. There is nothing wrong with passion as it breads success but there are better things to be passionate about 😄. Tradingshed, I will see about adding a liquidation feature. We are also working on a feature that will allow a person to put the EA into a mode that would work to get flat. So that it would continue with a string of trades as usual however once flat it would not add any more positions to that pair.

I casually mentioned it in here because people asked about it. Our official response on this will be released December 1st via email to all members along with some information on some additional improvements made to the tradency platform that will better fit this strategy. Also, regarding showing positions. We will be posting all this info for the two accounts that are acting as master accounts for Tradency very soon in the member area.

Not sure what else I can say at this point lobotomy. You are operating the EA outside the guidelines. We explained this in the welcome email and the very first line on the members area login page which is highlighted in yellow with black background is "IMPORTANT!!! You MUST trade using a micro account under $100k. I would very much like to see the trade reports. That does not make much sense at all unless you are trading the wrong lot size which can occur if you do not have micro's. We warn about that in the welcome email, on the first page of the members area, in the quick start guide, and in the best practices section.
