You need to thank Robert in the Yahoo group forum as he is not part of this myfxbook. Yes, so far on the risk=10. Dropping Risk down is a very good idea. It would really improve the potential downside.

EA is currently running on both EURUSD H1 chart and USDCHF H1 chart. EURUSD and USDCHF are closely correlated in market reactions. Backtesting one pair can be somewhat indicative how other pair will perform. To be sure, both pairs should be tested.

Yes, running default settings. Yes again to optimizing the settings. I have never had or seen an EA that was profitable in all market conditions. So, optimizing settings periodically is a good thing.DaysOpen and StopLoss2 work together to protect against a runway negative float. When both variables are exceeded, EA will close all trades.The step variable is the fractional percent of price movement to open sequential trades up to MaxTrades = 4. Explanation of variables are noted in beginning of EA code.

Yes , your observations are correct. Because we only have a few months of Live trading, I can not confirm this will not happen. The EA default settings would prevent a total account wipe out, but it could be a ~20% loss. And, it only takes a few of these to have a really big ouch. All I can say is if you run v2 on FXDD live account and start the EA when this myfxbook account has no open trades, you are running the same trade signals as is being posted on myfxbook.

I tested and submitted v2 to the Yahoo Group, other v2 versions were submitted by group members and I have not tested these.

Others have reported different results using Forex.com. As EA uses Previous Day Close Price, I think it may be the server time differences. Also, you need to get 90% Modeling Quality. Here a link to a youtube tutorial to update the History data. - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IBrPizaut0

If not following the group discussions, it would be difficult to know the progression of this EA. V2 is the earlier version submitted by me to group. Other v2 versions, including v26 are modified version from the group that I have not tested. The versions I have tested are v2, v3, v3a, v4, & v4a.Running v2 on myfxbook, which is the earlier version developed on FXDD server. v3 & v3a is same EA adapted to run on 5 digits and ECN brokers. V4 & v4a is basically same trading strategy, but modified to be stricter on order entry to hopefully improve long term stability. Forward testing is...

So far no manual intervention. I would not know why your trades aare open. Most trades will have some negative float (DD) while open. The has 60% wins.V3 is same as v2, except modified to also trade on 5 digit and ECN brokers.

This is a Martingale type EA and EURAUD is one of the best paris for repeated short to medium trend reversals. Yes, EURAUD produced best results.
