As Im getting some mails asking for a copy of the modified version of MDP, here's a note.MDP or similar agressive scalper that acts on the reverse of a price explosion during NEWs event and which had 3pip SL, does NOT survive with any type of slippage.They worked before everysingle broker started to "act weird" at the same time they do... In 2011 it did, around 6 months in 2012 the modified version did too! Today , I have long retired this EA. Works somewhat still great in DEMOs where there are no tricks... Signal is there, he gets it and WINs... ;)So forget about MDP please ...

Another comment on this, for those of you that knows how these volatility Channels Breakout based EA work you will see how the channels behave and what are the pros and cons of using channels. check this sample - and note that this is heavily dependent on what is the period of which you are calculating. see the attached image.Now after the Spike happened at 12:15 the channels will spike and depending on the power of the trend they will settle down again. This KeltnerPro acts 15min later after BO detection!!! Just check for yourself all the trades it made. Check the spike of today - this time f...

Frankly speaking there are tons of programmers out there that could do the same coding if they knew what to program.And the hard part and the true beauty of this EA is actually finding the logic that works.so, Im actually glad guys like this post ALL they trades for us to see analyze copy and paste ;)Btw, guess what kind of channel is used to check for the BO? Keltner channels !! dahhh. MDP was based on Bollinger, I chg these part of the code: ibands_8 = iBands(...) with middle=iMA (....)where the iMA is done on ATR averages ;)Cheers,Vlad

Check the graphs and the "power of teh BO", I got 0 trades in mine. However, Im starting to think of coding the reverse BO ;)

As I said, tons of ppl bought other EAs in the past that had shown profit, just to see a set of losses! Is this a bad EA? In essence I"d say NO. Is it ready to face what the "market" is throwing at it TODAY? NOOO.Could it be better, SURE!So, one example, which I coded myself was the MDP. Quite great idea! Worked great till the "market" started to kill it, MDP was never redone to avoid those! Nah dont take it to the letter ;) You can see that the leverage used change dramatically from first month to now! But indeed, I would not personally use this EA as it is coded. Tons of flaws which I will not say , as I said I have my own optimized version , which I'll keep it for now ;)

Another interesting fact though its not really related to the performance of the EA is the profit % in the last months, In June it grew, then it was 7% lower, then 6% lower, now 5% lower at only 2% profit so far ;), if things keep going next month it would be -2% ;)But that is just a joke comment ofc! ;)

As any other EA in the market , its just a matter of time till the "system" starts to play against you. Same was with teh MDP, seems like the fun with this one is also gone.Not only you have to lower your risk per Trade, I'd change the settings for the band calculation and level to consider the BO higher, to avoid so many False BO.For that you need to code your own EA. And frankly speaking the logic on this one is reaaaally simple!.Btw, take a look at the EURUSD buy he took at 12:30!!!! 15min Before the price CLEARLY spiked, but again CLEARLY revert and this EA, also clear detect...

Unless you can see the open trades, its hard to judge what is going on here.96% win rate is really hard to achieve unless you keep your losses open for ever ;)

but he could have started with 500 and used a max of 10 lots and still make the 14000%. I did not go over the trades to see how many pips he was trading in average to see if small slippages would play here or not.But thx for the inputs.

ah... that changes the picture. I did not know the original code was yours. if thats really the case, I believe you have all the rights to fight for your copyrights privileges. Instead of posting things here, cant you really have a law suit against them?And yes, I did seen many commercial EAs just modifying codes of other EAs.Personally I have used indicators and logic from other EA and made them into more profitable EA for myself. Im not selling them though ;)

I am use to do level trading similar to this, I guess what I need is to use the EA part that does the level trading as the grid part, Im not sure it really works. Also for a pair like GU, the default 15level pips is too short in my opinion, but then again, with martingale involved if you have a big enough pocket you can get out of a losing strike , I guess.btw, where's the code you were going to send me ;)
