For those not happy with GBPUSD:since the loser is GBPUSD-long and since EURUSD-long would behave similarly in a day with bad news for Europe, you may consider to deactivate LONGs in your EA. You can do it right-clicking on the EA chart, then select the tab Common, and select "Only Short". The account above, which is currently making 3% monthly, would be almost 10% monthly only trading shorts. And in case a week with bad news for the US comes and the USD is falling, act in accordance to the news and do the opposite. This might reduce losses and risk.

Better than having the possibility of selecting risk for each pair would be having the possibility of selecting risk for GBPUSD-short, GBPUSD-long, EURUSD-short, EURUSD-long. Only GBPUSD-long is not profitable. GBPUSD-short is the most profitable of all. So why remove or reduce risk? I would add risk for each day. I bet Tuesdays are not profitable. GBPUSD is.

teuteux13, FxPapa seems to work well in a long-term strategy. You should be ready to lose about 4 times in the year. Maybe even 5 or 6. In 7 and 1/2 months, since FxPapa account is being shown here, it's the 2nd time the EA loses. As Steve said, opening a trade this Tuesday was a mistake. Good point, the first thing I would do would be the deactivating of a few currencies, such as EURUSD and GBPUSD. Then this EA would immediately become slighly positive. Then try to find out what could help more - maybe a shorter SL maybe something else. Previous versions are working better.

My live account is repeating the demo account - two trades were open at the same time they open 2 trades in their demo account - one can't see their open trades at myfxbook here but you can see them in their FPA account. So yes, except if you have a bad broker, a real account should work close to the demo (- commission and spread.)

Perche ho avuto 3 volte 3 traders, tutti con un bello storico. In 2 volte, il trader nei primi giorni ha cominciato a fare soldi però circa 15 giorni doppo, un giorno mi sono svegliato, andato a vedere come stava il conto e non c'era piu niente. Tutto perso. Ho perso US$ 1000 in ogni caso. così... Tutti con un storico da impressionare. Il terzo trader m'ha fatto sollo perdere un po, circa US$ 50, comunque questo ho tagliato doppo la seconda perdita. Per me PAMM non va bene perche non sapiamo cosa fa il trader e non possiamo intervenire in caso di drawdown di 50%, per esem...

So far I didn't see Fapturbo making 30% a month, only 30% in DD. Dimitris, who is talking about settings? This is not about settings, it's about numbers the official account shows. The EA is new and shows a 30% DD. Period. I can't imagine what will be the DD after 1 year or so. I don't use the EA and won't use it, unless something changes and the official account shows good numbers and a smaller DD. This is not what I see.

Yes, you are right FxPapa. Both are ECN but one has commission and the other doesn't. The account with commission closed in profit before while the other remained open closing only when the trade in the official account closed.

No, different trades using the same broker and same VPS is really happening, I confirm. In one account, my trade is closed. In the other it is still open, and about 30 pips negative, so I'm not so idiot. It doesn't seem to depend on different brokers, but on Fx Papa server, maybe.

I think I am getting old or simply idiot, sorry. I made a mistake in what I wrote here. The only real issue I noticed is that sometimes one MT is working and the other doesn't have the connection. Concerning what I wrote, forget it, both EAs traded twice today and both had proper % returned. Something in MT history and lack of proper attention led me to a wrong conclusion.

FxPapa and ragency, In my view, Fxpapa server has a few problems. I'll explain why I think so. I have 2 EAs running in the same broker and same VPS, with different risks, both real accounts. Today 1 account traded twice. The other account trade once. The account that traded once had a trade (risk 25) with 3% profit. The other account (same trade, risk 10) made less than 0.5%. From time to time I see the EA active in one MT and not active in the other MT. So unless a better explanation is presented, the only one I see for this is the problem is in the FxPapa server.

gwringh, What you wrote is wrong. There were at least 60 pips in DD (2 trades open same time) 12 times on the following days since the beginning of the year: - today (06.05)- 05.16 - the loss- 04.18 - 04.13- 04.11- 03.25- 03.19- 03.12- 03.07- 02.07 (3 trades)- 01.09- 01.04Anyway it's a good system, at least it seems to me. If you want to reduce 220 pips to lose less, something close to 100 (100+40 in the 2nd trade) might be a good idea, but I'm not sure. But not 35.
