Don't know what to tell you... just hang in there :-). Like I mentioned earlier, my first 14 or some trades were all in red. Just make sure you're not risking high.

I've got a similar spike on eurusd by fx choice...I guess , I'm closing this account. @vladrac which broker are you using?

Breakeven might save some of the potential bad trades from hitting the stop loss, and at the same time might not give the trade enough breathing room, and might pre maturely stop out a good trade.thats what i think.

@subway what's not working? I've been having success with it. Even today, I had three successful trades on GBPUSD.@Alaa_forex try it on a live account, with low risk settings. I personally don't believe in demo testing. The order fills, and slippage which affects your live trading doesn't exist in demo trading, just my two cents :-)

@jamesphuc 3% risk for REV and 5% risk for Keltnerpro. I'm going to bump up the risk for REV to 5% too.@vladrac I'm not trying to be rude, I've just read about you saying the first month insane risk many times, and my point is, and I could be wrong, that even if you take out the first month's gains out of the equation, they both are still pretty good EAs. And I also didn't say you're not telling the truth, all I'm saying is ignoring thay one month doesn't make either of the EA any less attractive.

@vladrac , even if you average down the first month gains to what they gained later, they both are still pretty good EAs. I don't understand why you keep beating up on that point.@jamesphuc, from what I can tell, they both are very good EAs and both are different style. Keltnerpro trades momentum and would would sell or buy new highs/lows for the day with high momentum behind the move. Rev is a trend follower and opens trades on pull backs.About draw downs... I have no clue. my personal experience with Keltner pro is, when I bought it, it was having the worst month and my first 16 trades w...

Keeps saying that the EA is profitable and that his clients are using it for months.. when you ask him to show some live statements, he says you don't need his help and cuts off.Stay away.

Lol, if he knew how to reduce the negative trades I'm sure he would do it. But no one and I mean no one, be it a person or an EA who can prevent a string of losses.

You have to expect and be prepared for a draw down... and not to risk much. I think I have my risk set to 5%. I bought this EA when it hit it's draw down... my first 14 trades were negative trades but I rode them through. My first month was -14% and this month so far its +31%.Expecting an EA do only have positives trades and no draw down is not very realistic if you ask me.

If I'm a bank/company in Japan and I want to make a purchase in US dollars... it really wouldn't matter what the rate is, I will have to make that purchase... same goes the other way around.You thinking it's all controlled by the market makers is a little too narrow of a view if you ask me. Can you spike and take out some traders? Yes. But can they manipulate the forex market? No.

I agree with Keltnrepro here... some brokers are bad, so one should stay away from them. And about the market makers trying to trap some of the traders... thats pretty much in any market and one needs to be vary of such situations and plan around this.But what does that have anything to do with this EA?

Just curious, why do you think the above spikes are broker induced and not the market? I'm curious because all the brokers had about the same spikes, so its more of the market moving than the broker trying to manipulate...
