Don't expect results as good as you see on the myfxbook graph. The results are still ok but not that good.

I am in the process of switching accounts. Alpari has a 1% deposit and withdraw cost which isn't much but it's an expense I can avoid. Therefore I will be changing to Trading point which doesn't punish you for depositing money into their business which allows them to make money.

I got only one trade today and the one I traded ended up almost break even with the s/l triggered. Anyone else have this result today?

Was this drawdown the largest since last Nov. Previous drawdown was listed as 4%.

I was stopped out at 8% on my account. My setting is at 4. The sell trades all took and matched what was on fxbook here. What really bothers me is the equity growth does not show the drawdown. Drawdown is one of my main criteria for buying "EA's"(I guess because it's not an EA explains the lack of settings possible)

I think back tests don't prove very much since results can be tampered with by changing setting in the programming while conducting backtests. Live tests are the only pure proof with drawdowns looked at very closely. It takes longer for sure but it's real.

It seems to me the top ones are all pretty much the same. Anytime you go to a pro account with tighter spreads they charge a comm. to bring you right back to the same spread. One thing to watch for is do they charge to deposit and charge withdrawl fees.(Alpari charges this Hotforex not) That makes it expensive to move money around.

What I'm saying Gerald is I have seen all the trades that are closed or history trades but what is still open I do not know. My apologies Gerald but I've seen too many accounts suddenly crash when all the while closing trades in profit or smaller losses.I'm not trying to copy trades, just trying to invest safely.again my apologiesPhil

I will not invest in anything where I can't see the open trades and neither should anyone else.

How do you set stops, certain pip amounts or percentage? With the hotforex pamm accounts open trades aren't shown so drawdown is a big concern.Thanks for your time

Hi, being able to see the history is really helpful in determining drawdown for your trades. Without seeing it can only add to doubt and fear of the big loss.
