Hi Ozzie - thank you for stopping by.Up until today, ForexBrokerInc was allowing trades in Nano lots where 1.0 lots = 1000 units. So trading .01 was trading 10 units. This made it possible for anyone with $200.00 to use a martingale strategy. With their new trading terms and conditions 1.0 lot = 10,000 units so $2000 is needed on a 500-1 leverage account.

The EA is still available, but instead of a $200 account minimum, $2000 is now needed. Such a shame

Too bad brokers cannot leave a good thing alone - Always needing to make more money I guess. My broker stopped trading nano lots. So this algorithm will not work unless more money is deposited. Since they have changed their Terms and conditions twice since November, I think I will hold off trading with them and see if they last. But, we had a good run while it lasted!

Hi Braddock,On most brokers an MT4 entry of 1.0 lots = 100,000 units of currency. So when you trade .01, you are trading 1000 units of currency with this setting.On ForexBrokerInc Gold ECN account, 1.0 lots = 1000 units of currency. Much less investment needed to make these percentages.

On this account and one of my others I entered the 10th iteration of the martingale. On the EURUSD pair we enter the waiting game to see if the price will return to the 1.2160 level to close out our trades in profit.

Yes, by adjusting the Take Profit and add triggers, you can in essence create a grid pattern than can be as tight or spread out as far as you like. The tighter the pattern, the more trades per day, but the increased risk of the pair's price action to leave the grid area and blow the account. The more expanded you create, the longer orders will be held before recovery and the higher the draw down, thus high account balance needed.

HI Braddock - the files in the manual are not NEEDED for testing. It just makes it prettier. FXRogueWave3.1.ex4 is the only item needed to run. But I have added them here. I also added for you a script that I had that will close all orders when placed on a chart.Enjoy!

Absolutely. It really does not matter the time frame. It will just take longer for the indicators to line up to start the trading sequences on higher time frames.

I have attached a 5 year back test report for EURUSD using 1m metatrader data.As you can see, the price broke out of the encoded channel on 3 occasions during this time. Each time the price returned to our trade sequences closing in profit. The final set of losses were caused by the open orders closing at the end of the test period and not by standard loss.My intention is to reset the EA with a new magic number any time the highest iteration is used.
