Why can't you guys incorporate JForex as a plugin to MYFx? Isnt all of MYFX built in Java?

I don't think you fully understand the math here. You cant just divide 40 by 12 to get 3.5.It all works based on compounding. Before you post here you first need to look into that. For 2019 profit was 40%, but this means that monthly profit therefore was only 2.8%. You can also see this when you use 'Custom Analysis', and use the period of 1/1/2019 to 1/1/2020; you'll see that the monthly profit was only 2.82% indeed.

Profit is not actually 6% monthly; they ran it very high risk initially but are now running it effectively at extremely low risk, to make it look like a safe and durable strategy. Their current monthly profit is about 2% (that's WITHOUT incorporating the stop-outs). You can check this by using the 'Custom Analysis' tool and look at the period from 11 March 2019 to 18 December 2019, a period that had no stop-outs.If you DO incorporate the latest stop-out, which you should, the monthly profit over the last year exactly is 0.47%; daily profit is 0.00% (rounded). Profits are so meager though, that this 15% drawdown took out a whole year of profits. So no, it did not make any money over the last 12 months.

Sorry, once again I don't think we agree. With the 'auto lot size' active, your risk and average DD should stay the same over time. As will your profit in percentage.Do you have an instance running and on MYFXBook that has the 'auto lot size' parameter active? I think that will show us the true stability and performance of FXCharger over time.

Hi, so in my eyes you are actually lowering risk over time. If you compare to any other form of investing or speculating, you’ll see that normally monthly profits in $$ will increase as your balance increases. Which makes sense, as it’s similarly fair for someone that commits $1,000,000 to your EA should have a larger yield than someone that commits only $1,000 right? To align with this, most EAs calculate lotsize based on some formula that relates it to your balance and your risk setting. Hi FXCharger,Just looked at your monthly profits again and what bothers me is that although your daily profit shows 0.22%, the monthly profit shows a minimal profit for the last 2 years. It seems that the main reason for your pretty decent daily profit comes from the first 2 years of running this EA; especially the first month you ran it (65% profit).So it seems you dialed down quite a bit on the risk, making the EA look stable long term. If I actually analyze just the last year (2019), your daily profit seems to be only 0.02%.

Hi, yes agreed. But the way it is designed, is flawed as there is no escape plan from the reverse trade (outside of blowing the entire account). And yes this has been forward tested for a decade now, but there was a reverse trade that took 6 days to recover. Honestly at that point you have no control anymore over what will happen. They dodged a bullet there, because if it would have blown, this account would have been wiped out.Therefore the alternative; don't enter the reverse trade, take the 90 pip loss and continue on, hoping that on average you have more wins than losses.

So about whether or not to use the ReverseTrade option: if you're not using it, you'll take a 90 pip loss occasionally. As the wins on average are 2 pips, this means you'll need 45 wins per 1 loss to have a profitable strategy. Unfortunately if I look at the history, there were 20 losses on 460 trades, meaning 22 wins per 1 loss. So per this history, it means that without using the ReverseTrade, this EA will NOT be profitable.HOWEVER, what strikes me is that the last losing trade was on 21 February 2017, and had 113 winning trades after that (up till now). Sounds a bit strange to me that you as the maker cannot explain why the trades are all opened at exactly the same time. It's not that market conditions are exactly the same at these times.
