I can't remember, but I think I used default settings on ThinkForex-demo... In April my demo-account was suddenly deactivated. So I started a new account with same settings, which worked from end of april until end of july. On this account I made 40% loss in three months. So I stopped my tests with Forex Growth Bot. I think monthly return is too low for over 40% drawdown 😞

I tested about 40 Expert Advisors, but only one of them survived in the long run... but with huge drawdowns, so I would not recommend it. From my point of view, you should focus on manual trading. If you have not much time because of your fulltime job, you could try trading daily and weekly timeframes.

I think emkei is right, you should go live soon but with a very small account with nano-lots. Trading live is different to trading on a demo account. Maybe you get greedy and take to high risks or you get anxious and close orders which would have made good profits. On such a small live-account you can learn to control your emotions and trade strictly your strategy.I have been testing on demo accounts since October 2010.
