Good idea, and I would encourage anyone to not considering buying the EA until they see it running on a live account, don't let buyers be the guinea pig and sell them the EA in advance of that.

I hope this is a good lesson for those following signal providers. Warnings were posted Dec 1 FXMasterguru, and Dec 6/7 by myself as the lot sizing , risk per trade was massive and no SLs were being used. Obviously followers ignored the warnings and went ahead anyway, and the result is losses. Unfortunately this is so common on signal start providers and those with 40-80 % drawdown.

Looks like you got out just in time, another 32% loss of the account in one trade today trading 4 lots on such a small account is crazy. So glad for the watchlist feature on here so can watch traders longer term before investing. I hope subscribers don't lose too much money.

with such low pips per trade, will be interested to see it running on a live real account with slippage, not just a demo environment without execution delays / slippage etc.

Is the SL 200 pips. I am finding that for instance with FOMC decision I selected the str1 option with the pending orders, it had vol=0.1% I thought this mean it was risking 1% or 0.1% of the account size where it would set the SL. However it opened 0.18 lots on a $1,500 account and set a 200 pip Take profit and 200 pip SL. The SL size is insane for a news trading EA? Can you explain am I missing a setting somewhere? why is SL so large?

the other scam broker was 3tgfx also went bust this year http://redrhinofx.com/3tg-fx-broker/ NZ authorities are toothless tigers with forex.

There was another broker this year in NZ that also was found to be a Hungarian ponzi scheme. I used to work for an Australian AFSL license holder, as a financial planner, so know all the regulation stuff, plus brother works for ASIC. Tickmill has now got their FCA license and Varianse is another FCA regulated broker with good conditions I am hearing from other traders. I will be trying them out soon also.

still it's easier to have all the information on this same site, you will find signal providers who provide their myfxbook have history open on here. just a suggestion... myfxbook is better for analysis it also shows how much drawdown you had per trade in pips etc, lots of useful stuff when helping followers to decide whether to follow.

I would suggest for openess as a signal provider you should have your history unlocked including lot sizes. Of course not open trades but closed trades.

No the 2032% is not the percentage gain of the initial deposit. It's far more complicated to compute than that. If you see this page you can see in detail how it's calculated. http://www.investopedia.com/exam-guide/cfa-level-1/quantitative-methods/discounted-cash-flow-time-weighted-return.aspIt's the standard used by Mutual funds, unit trusts, etc the world over. his additional deposits don't boost his returns i the 2032% figure at all. The whole point of this measure is to take away any impact from addiional deposits and withdrawals etc, like a professional unit trust work...

LOL @ TRADEFX2016. Additional deposits or adding money to the account doesn't affect the calculated gain figure. so true return is 2032%. If you hover over the word gain, it explains it "GainTime-Weighted Return (TWR) that measures the performance of a dollar invested in the system since inception.TWR measurement is required by the Global Investment Performance Standards published by the CFA Institute.
