Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. Thank you so much for highlighting the amount of days you have spent in green compared to red for one trade. Yet all those pips you earned (280 pips) doesn't seem to have you in green worth covering your electricity bill. I am not sure why you would say "Swing trading" is the most effect weapon in forex , when most of the people swing and end up losing at the end. Thank you so much for your response. It tickles me when people say "You are gambling and not trading". Just for your record, everyone who deposits money into forex is gambling. Especially those who swing trade, being that swing trades trend to ignore current events, and take positions based on past high/lows instead of price action. The reality is if you are trading martingale or not as long as you make profit that is the key to trading. Many people look down on martingale, but martingale should be used especially when scalping. I for one now trade using fibs with engulf patterns, and over 97% of the times in which i open a position and closed in red after 5 mins, the trade ends up going against me 12 pips before I close back to break even. Well said about the drawdown. Most people get caught up in using as little margin as possible, when the reality is that your free margin will end up being used to keep your horrible, bias position open. Thus the worst kind of money management possible. It's like having bought eur/usd at 1.42 3 years ago, and as it dropped you keep depositing to not close that position for a loss. :)

Well said mate. The reality is we do have a few noobs around who are looking for managers who can run up accounts. 500%+ as quickly as possible. All of this "low draw-down" BS is for investing. The people who are willing to follow and follow for a decent amount of capital don't want to earn 3% a month! They want the quick hit, so they can withdraw and repeat. Which is why it kills me when people say "I have such a super low draw-down follow me", then you look at their trades they have floating losses or even pip-draw-down of well over 200-300 pips. It's also funny ...

Why are the demo traders always trying to gain credibility? You guys should be banned from posting on websites. Demo trading isn't an accurate form of determining wither or not you would handle a person's money correctly. If a person doesn't have an account uploaded which reveals they have withdrawn please don't believe their word. You have many guys talking about low risk trading, and 1% equity per trade, but the reality is they have never wagered with their own money. 1% equity on demo is like trading 0% equity in live (Which means it means nothing!)

You have no idea what you are talking about it. In no way does "% change" represent "% risk" You have many factors which contribute to % risk such as you have many factors which contribute to % change. Example, a person who earns 200% profit in a short amount of time doesn't necessarily have to have had risked much of his/her account. It could be that penguine may of been compounding on every trade which lead to a run up of his account, but that is just one way of many to earn high % profit while trading forex. It isn't fair to generalize high% profit with such a n...

That's just it. If you did it with 'lunch money'.You should be able to do it with a bigger account. Your account balance should not influence your trading at all. As it won't be determining factor on what you see on your chart.

I turned 250% profit today alone in "Phoenix capital III" E/C had very good movement today considering most of the market were closed today.
