Congratulations, DEMO Warrior!DEMO trading is so-so-so far from trading with real money (in multiple aspects), that it is almost completely useless and self-deceptive. It is still better to trade on a "cent account" with micro- or nanolots than trading with a demo account.
I want only a safe 4% each month... Which EA?? Thank you

I guess the 10,000+ hours (screen time) refer to both of us (and to most fellows in the "5% Club") - as well-put by Malcolm Gladwell in the "Outliers". By no means 10,000+ hours is a guarantee for success, it just part of it.

I have to disagree. Casinos do not speculate as they have a STATISTICAL EDGE on all the games they offer. It is the same in the business of trading: Once you have a statistical edge, it is not speculation any more. Of course, having an edge also means controlling risk (like casinos control they own risk). It is a part of having an EDGE.If you are curious about the "house" EDGE of different casino games, here is a good link: http://wizardofodds.com/gambling/house-edge/. Black Jack has only a 0.28% "house" edge, but still, hundreds of casinos thrive on offering this game. Why...

DGilberto is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! This is exactly why trading firms employ psychologists and there are so many books about trading psychology (just do a quick search on Amazon). On the other hand psychologists and books are useless, unless one has the adequate mental and emotional setup/foundation for trading.Personally I DON'T. Admitting it (after reading all the books about trading psychology) was the first step to become successful in trading. How? I just quit manual trading completely and moved to the algorithmic approach 100%. No more stress, no more fear & greed, no more fatigue...

If you have an EDGE, trading is not speculation. It is being The Casino. Once you are the Casino, then you win and lose (like the casion at the roulette table), but eventually and statistically you win more than you lose (the same as the casino). It is that simple.So find your edge, then you are on your way.

There are EA's producing stable 20-30% profit per month, but you'll never see them on MyFxBook...Please don't ask why... Just think for a minute before asking this question... Got it? Congratulations! 😄

To make a STABLE living from trading is next to impossible, but still, it is possible. One just has to be smarter than the other 95%... And by the way the other 95% is not stupid either. So there is a fine line between to be smart or smarter. It is the foundation to make the "psychology" part (i.e. the 80%) easier. Again, it is only a foundation. Most of the people who trade Forex (or anything else) think they are smarter than the others. That is why they trade.Still, statistically 95% of traders end up losing consistently or at once everything and they stop trading within 6-9 months. 95%....! I bet none of the people who end up in the 95% start like: "I will belong to the 95%." Still 95% end up there.Of course, there is the 5% (mostly banks and funds) who happily take the monies from the 95%. Trading does not produce real value: we all BET against each other. MyFxBook records also floating DD, which could be the reason you consider MyFxBook "wrong".In my dictionary DD is a DD (floating or not floating).

It is a DEMO account, which has NO credibility at all.Suggestion: Invest 50 USD in a micro account and try it live. If you are so "confident" about the system, you should have the courage to risk at least 50 USD... Am I correct or am I right?

-83% DD is HUGE on the PAMM... Whatever the profit is. No one would invest large funds with the risk of facing such a huge DD. Not to mention the very limited (1 month) history (http://www.myfxbook.com/members/superscalper/pamm-account/633218)FxAmplified (having 500+ subscribers) has -7.8% max. DD (over a 7 months period) and subscribers are already cursing/crying and canceling subscriptions... With less than -10% DD...! On the other hand the guy had only one losing month (-2.6%) out of 7 gaining an average of +4.1% profit per month. And still... Go figure!Most traders are shaking and tremblin...
