Apollo Global Management Slips To Loss In Q2
(RTTNews) - Apollo Global Management Inc. (APO) reported Thursday a second-quarter net loss attributable to common stockholders of $2.05 billion or $3.53 per share, compared to net income of $649 million or $2.70 per share in the prior-year quarter.
Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $0.94 per share, compared to $1.14 per share in the year-ago quarter. Adjusted earnings - normalized - were $1.06 per share.
Total revenue for the quarter plunged to $2.27 billion from $1.38 billion in the same quarter last year.
On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $1.02 per share on revenues of $849.75 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
