Wow where did this account come from? The previous Bogie account was stuck in negative for a while. This one is 2.5 months old.

Hello,

It was the variable settings. I started 2 accounts with different variable values.

It is impressive. Is the variable setting adaptable to market conditions?

Hello,

Variable values are periodically reviewed and tested to current market conditions. All of this is handled in background and no Client involvement is required.

Hello Bill,

Glad to see a new EA. Do you have a live account running the EA? Would be great to see one. What is the recommended leverage?

Thanks.

Fred

Hello,

Yes. a small mini Live account running on only 1 symbol. Will need a few more months to generate Live data on the other suggested symbols.

Hello,

The EA uses preset variable values. When EA is started, the settings are read from our Bogie server. The EA is setup for 4 symbols. USDJPY, GBPJPY, EURJPY, CHFJPY. You should be aware of the CHFJPY volatility. This symbol has the history of high gains, along with severe periodic loses.

Thanks.

Just to confirm I am doing the right thing. I have installed the 3 pairs on the metatrader plattform. I am using forex.com which is using and extension of FXF to the pair name. I have only entered a risk level of 0.2.

Can I assume that the EA will work with forex.com that uses FXF extension to the pair?
Should I change any other inputs in the EA or the inputs will be uses as preset variable once connected to the Bogie server?

Many thanks.

Hello,

The EA should work OK with suffix FXF to symbol name. It works OK with IBFXm symbol name. No need to change any settings to run with our latest optimization. When settings value =0, then EA is using preset value. When a setting is changed (value>0), then that value is used.

Hello,

Can I run your EA in an account which already contains others EAs ?
Indeed you take 10% of profit, then can you make the difference between the profit generate by your EA and the profits generate by the others existing EA ?

Hello,

EA tracts and manages trades made by this Bogie EA. All other EAs or manual trading do not effect the profit sharing for this EA.

Hello,

last trade was on 2011.12.16.

When there are no open trades, EA does market analysis before opening a trade. This can take from a few minutes to several weeks depending on price oscillation pattern. After it opens 1st trade, EA is committed to current market conditions and will trade more frequently.

Hello,

You need to do nothing, as the EA uses preset settings that EA reads from our server. If you prefer to develop your settings, set input EA_Testing=true. Then perform optimization tests as described in the Instruction Manual.

I see a trade opened on CHFJPY on this Demo but it was not opened in my plattform on the VPS. I am running the EA on forex.com. Please advise.

Thanks.

Happy holidays.

Hello,

The opened trade was on GBPJPY.

In the past, I have seen the same thing between demo accounts and live to demo accounts on same broker.

The EA runs the same code on all Brokers. I found that different results are from connectivity to server (Latency Times) issues and/or Spread and Stop Level settings by broker. It only takes 1 pip to make or miss a trade signal.

Demo and Live accounts by their nature will never have identical results. Demo has more static spreads and Stop Level, while with Live account these are always changing. Also, Demo accounts are direct market feeds, while Live accounts are through Broker's Bank to Market. This effects latency times and Broker's live account server can refuse order calls during high volume periods. This is the nature of Live account trading.

I have run 2 Live accounts on separate PCs, on same broker, same EA, same settings and had different results.
