I tried a $5k demo with default setting (0.01 lot) and the account blew within one week.

Now I'm running a demo with 100k =) with a starting lot size of 0.01. The largest lot has been 3+. So I'm assuming that a 10k Cent account would mimic the 100k demo and be the only way to trade Forex envy.

updates every 5 minutes with open trades. and history.

this account was turned off on July 18, and will be restarted on August 1st. I didn't do this intentional but more so forgot about this EA until recently. I see that some accounts experienced some big losses ( short cycle - intervention - idk exactly ), some are experiencing current drawdown like the vendors Short/Long Cycle ( 54% equity ) - https://www.myfxbook.com/members/ForexEnvy/forex-envy-longshort-cycle/187435

@NicePips From what I'm seeing now, its all about the set files you use and if you use Both Cycles, or just the Long Cycle. Some users don't know what their getting into and will blow their account on any big trend while more experienced grid traders understand the limits and know when to turn off, intervene, or adjust the setfiles.

i noticed negative baskets being closed out, so I stopped it and made some adjustments.

you don't even know what it is. ILAN has been around for years. if you think it works in the long run, you've been mistaken.

I don´t believe it works in the long run. I´m pretty sure it will blow up the account. Hopefully get enough profit out of it i that time - I also would not use these EAs on any larger amounts of money.

I'm glad to hear that. As long as you know the routine, you'll be fine.

The only problem that I see in using a dangerous system like this is that can have two accounts blow back to back without reaching the 100% gain. At that point, all the time and money is wasted.

everything is all about timing.

In the past year GBPUSD have been pleasant to this strategy and that's why everyone is using the MARGRID strategies with temporary success.
