The event marked the company's first initiative in Malaysia and focused on providing essential supplies to the children at the orphanage, reflecting EBC's commitment to corporate social responsibility and support for underprivileged communities.
During this initiative, EBC Group employees actively participated in gardening and cleaning activities within the orphanage's compound. The team planted an assortment of plants and trees, enriching the orphanage's green space. In addition to hands-on activities, EBC Financial Group provided essential donations which included monetary contributions, groceries, cleaning supplies, and gardening tools, addressing some of the immediate needs of the orphanage.
The Pure Life Society Orphanage, established in 1949, serves as a home for orphans and underprivileged children, offering them care and support amidst the challenges of displacement caused by World War 2.
