yes, the Swiss Central Bank announcement of the de-pegging of the Euro created a unusual 2000+ pip upside gap on Swiss, causing all pairs with CHF, such as EURCHF, USDCHF, GBPCHF, to tank thousands of pips, wiping out many accounts that traded the wrong side of this pair, and also some brokers, such as Excel today, because Excel's STP model makes them liable to the banks for millions of dollars when their own wrong-sided CHF client accounts get wiped out and owe them millions of dollars. Darn, I was hoping that this EA would completely bite the dirt. 94% DD on April 28 was so very close falling off the ledge.It looks like it was hanging on by a finger nail and now, over the last few months, it has managed to put on at least two more wobbly fingers. finger = 10%Ref DD tab: 94% DD (April28) to the current 73% DD (Nov19)

Yep, I think you're right. I'm running one of the longest live MDP accounts and has entered into unprecedented and serious 50% DD since Sept-2014. @BluePanther. Sure, I now understand your initial skepticism. Also, thanks for noting how you arrived an initial misunderstanding regarding my version of correlation, which is indeed inter-strategy correlation. Like you, I have seen way too many EAs, Signal Services and Pamms get lucky with enormous returns at the outset and then burn out. Personally, I think most burn out because they are using risky methodologies to generate their initial big returns and these same risky methodologies eventually destroy the account. What are they? There is not one EA coder that I know of (and I've been in the automated coding business for 17 years now) that has worked anywhere near the details of Yen Fortress. I'm with the skeptics here on this one. EA is dead and probably will not come back to life any time soon. I've tried to optimize the power edition several times and still I have had no luck. Something fundamental has changed with EURUSD -- no more reliable breakout activity on M15 or M30 time frames -- and we cannot hope forever that that reliable breakouts will come back on this pair. BTW, the EA is a backtest failure on other correlated dollar pairs because those pairs do not give reliable breakouts, and now EURUSD has joined them. I've been a big fan of excelmarkets since the beginning. I've tried 30 or so brokers in the last 12 years, and excel is excellent. The spreads are some of the lowest in the industry, execution speed is blazing fast, there are no disconnections, and support is top notch.

Sorry Sgbdis, in your case, you cannot be a martingale because your FX Money Machine has already been vetted for autotrade, which doesn't allow martingales. Congrats on your success.

Drive alpha, the EA you have running in your account is a martingale, and so is that backtest you showed earlier. Are martingales the only EAs you have been able to develop? This is not a "safe" return. Martingales will eventually blow up.

I agree with FXRX, consistently doubling is the hard part. High leverage or a martingale EA can double an account in 6 weeks, but it can also destroy an account as well. It is a gamble.
