Hi Soeren,Yep, not sure what happened this week. Guess the markets have been choppy. It's a shame as well as it was really starting to do well. Hopefully it will just be a blip on chart and things will start picking up again.Steve

There's a suggestion in the suggestion box somewhere about this.Basically the reason is because the calendar on MyFxBook only shows future news releases and not past ones.

You can't without opening a completely new account.You can however put a custom date filter on your account that starts from the new period.Click on Custom Analysis.Enter the date range you are interested in.Click AnalyzeClick the little pin to make it red.Click custom analysis again to close down this section.Probably worth putting a comment on your system to advise people why there is a custom analysis there as well.Good luck with your new start!

How did you learn to trade then Chanak?Did you simply load up some charts one day and study them on your own in isolation until you figured everything out by yourself or did you rely on the information that traders before you were good enough to pass on - possibly for a fee?I'm not saying for one minute that charity should enter into the equation and obviously sharing what you find with the whole world or your close competitors ( in this case the bucket shops ) doesn't make sense but if there's a quid pro quo relationship there then why not? Altruism could be one reason.Wanting to get to your financial goals faster another.I completely understand some people's urge to enable others to succeed with their goals in life and Winsor should be applauded if this is his aim. It's funny but a lot of people I know that have got to the point where they no longer have to work actually then find within themselves a burning desire to help others move towards this goal and then make that their life's work. It's generally the people striving towards financial freedom that don't understand this desire and often question it.

Actually he doesn't have 100% success. If you remove the custom filter on this accounthttp://www.myfxbook.com/members/ranesh/rwfxmain-contd--rwfxmain2/15358You can see a loss.However 100% success does generally indicate a trader not prepared to accept losses which will lead to problems at some point in the future in my opinion.

I'd also question the validity of it. Just because you "paid" a spread of say 3 pips on GbpUsd for a trade, does not mean that your broker made 3 pips. He gets his price on the open market ( providing he's a genuine broker accessing the open market ) and then potentially added his cut on top of this.There are three main setups with regards to brokers.Fixed spread, so he makes a varying "commission" based on what the spread was at the time he put the trade through. Forex.com is one option, not a brilliant one but they do allow 0.01 lots and have no maximum lot limit. It really depends what your starting lot size is going to be.To be honest I would not use any broker that is not an ECN or an STP, especially not for a martingale. Get a requote or some other kind of order rejection at the wrong time and you are in the deep stuff.One of the reasons Martingales are such a dicey proposition on live accounts.

Fortunately Google translate works both ways.It's not unreasonable for people to expect a good level performance without an account suddenly wiping out over the course of a couple of days.Yes there are risks in Forex trading and yes you should never trade with capital you cannot afford to lose in it's entirety but to see that capital disappear in one week must be pretty disheartening for Vit.I don't believe there is any call for rudeness Dmitry.

Don't use Alpari in my opinion, certainly not for a Martingale system.You have two options with Alpari one of which doesn't allow smaller than a 0.1 lot and the other which does allow 0.01 lot but does not allow you to open more than I think 2 lots at any one time. Neither are ideal for Martingale.

I haven't tested this but it's pretty much correct I think. Although I may not have defined all the variables I'm using and my counter might be out by one so you might have to adjust that. I called my custom indicator "Cross EMA Arrow". It would have to be an awkward one wouldn't it!I'll download the indicator and take a look.Are you using the modified MA at all ( red,blue line ) as you have to be careful the way you use this one. It doesn't accurately record the change over from red to blue and so you have to actually compare previous values on it if you are using it in iCustom()

He only trades GbpJpy and I monitor the account on a daily basis. GbpJpy has pretty much been heading up for the last few days and this account equity has been heading down.

Indeed it does look as though this account is heading for a wipe. GbpJpy isn't coming down any time soon I don't think.
