Thanks you so much @qnguyen , that was a productive answer based on the previous reply and very constructive for the general discussions! You got it all right! We are looking for a free service because we are just selfish traders who don't want to pay anything!End of the irony.

What I would be the most worried about are the necessary licences/regulations which needs a solid legal service :S

Checkout the professional account there: https://www.excelmarkets.com/fr/accountsIt comes from the people who made cashbackforex. You can also add cash back to reduce your spread even more.
Net Profit vs. Gross Profit

I am looking at an account with open positions since a while right now. If you do the total of profits you get the GROSS PROFIT (there i no mention of NET PROFIT anywhere in this tab). By gross profit I mean that it does not include the SWAP earned with these trades.

The answer includes traders but is not only traders. @ZOOM is entirely right. Everyone affects the market. Some huge hedge fund might dumb their CHF and make the market crash for a second...this is purely the law of offer and demand. You have to understand that forex is gigantic. Even you when you go visiting Paris and pay with your US credit card for a ticket to go on top of the eiffel tower you are doing FX. Now scale it to an industrial level and think about all these companies that buy and sell constantly everywhere in the world.

Yes.It would obviously not be of interest for accounts lower than 5-10k$. Which is for the good I guess, as liquidity provider doesn't accept micro lots. Very frequent from small accounts.

Don't be fooled. This is not a system worth your time. It is only taking long positions...useless.Wait until the market decides to change for good...

I feel like they are keeping this nice profitable trade open only as a cushion to keep the DD low. If a new follower to the SP arrives right in the middle, he will suffer much higher DD than the Myfxbook account is showing as the DD from the highest equity point aren't taken into account here.

I am not saying that we can trade at zero spread as you'll always have the liquidity provider's spread but still you could pay a subscription and not a spread to the broker on top of the LP's spread? Whatever the amount on the account, anyone would have to pay, say 30 or 40$ (like a VPS price) and wouldn't suffer any spread beside the LP's.The "mass" of client would overcome the fixed expenses.

This is a question I was wondering about the current business model of brokers. I understand that brokers need to be remunerated for their service but I don't understand why nobody ever came up with an alternative such as a broker that would ask for a monthly subscription with only the LP's spread instead of always adding an extra fee? Is it even possible?Do you know what brokers pay to LPs in order to propose their feed to the customers?Just some thoughts ;-)

Quick question: I see signals available on all my MT4 but how does a SP on MetaQuotes remunerate himself? As there is no direct connection between the SP and my broker to charge any fees?

Watchout, the strategy has 99% winning trades and only use a TP of 7pips without SL.If a trade goes completely wrong it will be the end of the account :SAlso swap could slowly eat up the profits...

It's hard to give an amount. I think that 1k€ is the reasonable minimum.Regarding the history, even if it's demo and as long as it's not a 1M scalper, any trak record above 1 year will always have a very positive effect on potential investors.

You can't be that adamant. Someone selling an EA that is trading on H1 or even on D1 could still use a demo account to start testing the EA and after six months / 1 year switch to real account. However I agree with you, a scalper or any EA trading volatile event can absolutely not be trusted based on demo statements. The main point I would defend regarding live trading is that it gives you a huge advantage versus demo sellers. It means that you believe in your strategy, at least enough to put in real money.A lot of people advertise stuff but are not even ready to put in a single dime in it....
