Hi Ben,It really depends on where your interests lie. CovertFx trades on 10 pairs where as KeltnerPro trades on less. KeltnerPro has shown profitable results for about 2 and half years now.You will see a lot more trades on CovertFx.Both work well, but it's really a matter of what interests you.Regards,Jared Rybeck

I'm sorry you feel that way Rick, but not all vendors are like that. Maybe the shadier ones are, but when you provide your email on my website, you can opt out anytime and you do not get re-added to another list, you are removed permanently. CovertFX is $347

There's more than one way to make a breakout system. It is similar, but I've rebuilt it, changed the strategy, and have designed it to work on many more pairs, including gold.

Haha, I would ask the same question in your position. Truth is, I rarely log onto my VPS to check. I monitor the trades through myfxbook just like the rest of you.Just figured it was a period of inactivity.Believe or not, that terminal has not been updated in about 6 months.Kind of catches you off guard when the broker forces you to update to continue trading.

I wish that were the case. It's more a result of me not realizing a new version of MT4 was released, and the broker no longer allowing my current version. Once I allowed MT4 to update, trades resumed. The wins and losses just happen to be coincidental.

Your not considering different lot sizes of trades. 1 pip at 5 lots is a lot different than 10 pips at .5 lot

The new feature is not actually a fixed stop loss. It is just a stop loss cap. The Stop loss is still dynamic unless it exceeds the value specified.The feature was also included in the last version as well, it was just not an external parameter. It was hidden. I just opened it up with this release.So to answer your question, we've all been using the same version for the last 5 months or so, and will still continue to do so.

I noticed what you were saying after my initial post. I did however test the code in it's current state with a hard SL of 25 pips on the EURUSD pair.The issue I ran into is that the way the EA is set up currently, new trades will open up if the conditions still exist at the closing of a trade that proceeds it.So in theory, if you were to just cut off all those trades that occurred, the profits would be much greater assuming no additional trades were opened, but in reality with the way the EA is currently coded, you would have had an increase in the number of trades, and the loses would act...

What about the trades that have a drawdown that exceeded 25 pips, and ended up closing in Profit?The trades that KeltnerPro wins big on, are the ones that have a SL that is far greater than 25 pips and sometimes have a drawdown that is also greater than 25 pips.It is something I will look into for sure, but I imagine it will probably end up cutting down on the profits.

That is not the case. Some trades will close out after a certain amount of time.

It wouldn't have. The trades would have closed around market opening anyways for around the same value. Why wait?
