It looks like 15 min trigger though sometimes being later than on 5 min but increases chances of successful trade. In certain situation 5 min also might be used but most of the time trading from 15 min just reduces number of misfires.

managed to catch 100 pips move which helped me to trade DD back. I have many similar trades but do not pick even half of the moves. Gotta concentrate on this plus patience.

Today was hard day. Had DD but traded back and added 0.25% but made many mistakes in the beginning. Thankfully controlled myself waited for right moment and made a couple of good trades to trade DD back and move account to new high. Will be more careful and since now on will be watching more at 15 min than 5 min.

Gold is too expensive to trade with no substantial capital and I always wanted to trade oil. Oil is the most important thing that we have and is a foundation of current civilization. Gold is just a shiny object. Confidence comes from more than 5 months of trading oil only.

Unless you are having fun😉 I used to have a lot of fun with Mr. Zero's thread myself. A couple of times after that he was throwing some of his famous tantrums and got banned under recent handle , LOL .

Oracle, what do you expect from this schmuck? He is asking you to post your charts, but he himslef ain't posting nothing. Also, if you are not looking for OPM why do you have to post anything at all?It is up to you.The thing is that I was making right direction trades twice out of three trades and picked very little. i am not in the business of catching falling knives. I am always going with momentum or at least with reversing momentum.

today's moves were caused by US news and we could not know how the market would react and it could reverse against us easily. when certain level shows itself as important and it is either getting broken or break out fails this is when more pips can be picked with more confidence.

still, I have to agree that consistency is far more important that making killer trades. I remember seeing chart of the guy who traded making 0.1-0.2% daily for 10 years. The most beautiful chart I have ever seen. Very consistent and inspiring confidence.

still it is frustrating. I have made 3 trades today. Long made 80 pips I picked 30. short went almost 300 pips I picked 35. The problem is that market doing this in not smooth mannner. 2 bucks up then 5 bucks down.

Unbelievable! it's going to Friday's low now. Hard to step away form PC when see such volatility. Wife however pushing me away , LOL. I will not trade today anymore but it's kind of upsetting that I had good entry and did not pick as much, but in truth considering how everything was moving it was hard to let it run as trade could turn against me in no time. Friday's price action was on the other hand very predictable which let me stay in trade and pick more pips. It generally dropped 160-170 pips from my entry.

lost long trade when got trigger to go long then went short. Pity. it dropped 100 pips I picked around 35.0.5% up. will call it a day especially as we are having holiday here.

Missed first long entry at 96.85 as was thinking too much of whether to buy right away or wait for break and then retracement. It shot 60 pips in no time. tried to enter then with limit order on 97.50, it run so I bought aggressively and closed within few seconds for 30 pips. will be waiting.

I managed to approximately double $100 account within 3 months and then lost 70%. I then never was able to make similar returns again as I got scared when trade was going against me and was closing them at big loss eventually. Generally all the money i lost on Forex were lost between September 2008 and February 2009. around $1000. Yep, I remember Bruce was participating in various demo contests when i joined Oanda. I wonder why Oanda forum closed itself to new members. Oanda forum is not very active at the moment.

Yep, SirGoodman is Bruce/ Diamond . I was not following but he got banned from Oanda. BTW, when did you start trading? I will be 3 years in the begining of October 2011.
