Mind is better anyway, it activates all the sections of your brain, while machine trading or trading with expert advisors/signals doesn't develop you fully imho.

advantages of demo, easy:1) basic knowledge and skills in trading. it helps traders to dive deeper in trading activity and not to be loaded by theory only2) availability to test, create and edit strategies in case you have already acquainted with the demo trading and relocated to the real account3) ability to "train" your trading psychology. the matter here is to have a skill to ""abstract"" from demo account and imagine that you are trading on the real account. it's tough but not impossible.

I guess we should think, but not always. We should think only in case we need to make a choice, whether we open a position or not, according to the results of technical or fundamental analysis. In forex, knowledge is power. You cannot just rush into trading when you lack all the relevant knowledge. A lot of people that fail forex are usually not willing to learn. They want the easy way out and earn as muchbas they can in a short time which is usually a bad Idea because it never works. The result is just a lof of losses that could have easily been avoided.

AAFX was my first brokerage and I blown my first deposit. Those time I thought that brokerage is guilly, but my friend (professional trader), clearly showed me that I simply don't know how to trade and that's why I lose money. I came back to AAFX and started trading with demo and learning harder, finally I came back to real trading and now I'm profitable. So you're right - just choose good brokerage and have enough stamina and you'll be 100% profitable!
