ehehe For those that are more experience, heres another tip, just follow one of the real accounts that have been posted during news event... it is THAT simple... you can just copy the trades manually from there.I believe that the comment above, removes my chances of getting a commission from the author ;)

500 USD is high for me too..But if you have 5000 or more in your account! Its guaranted you get your money back in a couple of months + profit.I should start to ask for commissions from teh author! :)

How on earth did you get that from what I posted? ;)I am saying all the time the opposite ehehhe. This for me IS THE EA of this year. And I hope for the next year to come.I just prefer to code things myself and backtested and be in control , even if that means I might get worst than the original. So far its been goooood.

The author is smart enough, he will likely make changes in the future. My code is really not comercial ready in any sense of form.Note, I am not aiming for a 100% accuracy, but, for sure there are things you can avoid and as a tip, just go back in the charts and see why it failed... its really not that hard to see. Thats is quite true. It made 118K coming out of 10K in the last 40 days. but I could have been more if I havent poked my hands there and stopping it for winning more ;)the time I was out in US and out of reach it made more money alone eheheh.There's a LOT of magic in the exit too. the entry point is for the most (now that we know ;) ) obvious.Cheers,Vlad

I dont think thats the case... as I said there are a few things you should take care bf going into a BO... and this EA only take care of a few of them.If you would add a few others you can avoid losing on fake BOs. And its no magic, analyze the losers and see for yourself. Its not about locking profits.ps: I meant my version as in the one I coded myself based in this EA strategy. A dangerous trade today! There was an obvious BO, however it was also clearly a revert...So , as I said, add a couple of filters into this strategy and its going to be unstoppable... ps. my version didnt trigger the trade ;)

Hey Steve, I thought you didnt give tips ;)Keep the number of trades , lower the risk per trade , is that simple...How many pairs are you trading ? consider that all of them will trade for all trades, use that to calculate the risk and there will be no problem! ... this is really just basics...Oct was an extraordinary month... dont expect all months to be the same! also , just basics...

Well, you did pay 500 USD for it... and you got in a really bad time. So I understand the decision.Anyway, I would in the other hand let it ran in a DEMO and make my own decisions. (or follow someone else DEMO ;) ).Its really clear when the trades will come, just follow the News Calendar and you will see.So, keep an eye on the DEMO and make your call whether is a good trade or not.Now, for a lot of ppl letting the EA run will be better than trying to manual trade it.

Like I said bf this is a great strategy that needed a few minor tweaks, now, how much you risk is up to you in the end. This is not hardcoded by the EA.

Any other tip for a strategy with good risk/reward ratio? Most of what I see is big SL, small TP and lots of martingale (or similar) , and lots of ppl adding to losers in hopes it will turn kind of strategy.Ppl with great performance on a strong trend, just to blow it all out once it reverse, etc.I see you have many logged in your profile. Not really, thats how Market Makers works... they set the ASK/BID for you, you put the order THEY take it.

Coming back to the whole real ECN broker/Market Makers. Who would be that insane to SELL USD yesterday? Really? I might be totally off here, but I just cant imagine that happening in a large scale.Is there a way we can prove that there's really the other side of our trades? Someone that is really buying what we are selling or selling what we are buying?In that case what is the usual splippage?

I think you meant Costing you some Profit ;) Anyway, I see ppl complaining from time to time in this thread, but we are talking about EA here, an event like yesterday cant really be counted as normal behavior of the market, try to create an EA that is THAT flexible and you likely will fail... but anyway...what do i know.

I believe this "simple" BO strategy that 90% (or more) are triggered by News is quite solid if you make sure to not enter weak BOs... note that outside the News times, most of the BO reverted.There are at least 4 things to consider whether or not a real BO was formed. Some obviously this EA is considering , some I think he missed, and those Im applying to my own strategy.Anyway, I am still thankful to KTPro for finding this one. I am yet to see a real ECN broker that has good spread/spliggages and really work by trading other ppls buys and sells. But Im glad to be wrong and if anyone can point me to one decent broker. Let me know.
