The point is very simpleYou should have well defined trading plan (or dont trade at all)Such well defined trading plan can be always transformed to EA.EA will always execute trades more efficiently than youEA is always easy to backtest and even forward test than manual trading.

That is not true,I run robot with the same settings for years...Moreover ...all robots is that they base their work on the past market movement...And what is your manual trading based on, on future market moves? :)

SO called Robots are superior to manual tradingThe cons is you have to program it an d run on serverThe pros- execute trades exactly according to trading plan- faster than human- without emotions- 24/7

will a commission based Broker offer better execution and reduce slippage during big news? I would say it does not depend on fixed/variable spreadsExecution and slippage differs from broker to broker.Logically the best conditions during news could offer B-Book broker as such trades will never reach the market :)
