No doubt MT4 is much easier for programming than MT5But for backtesting MT5 is much better than MT4That's why it is worth it to start with MT5

Having a loss is part of trading and it has to be part of trading plan,which defines when to close the trade, even though it is not in profit.On the other hand having too many losses leads to unprofitable trading which is not your goal I hope :)

I do not get it.How can someone invest 1 mil USD to system which losses 13% on single trade 04.09.2015 01:00 04.09.2015 17:32 EURUSD Buy 145.97 - - 1.07831 1.06896 -93.5 -136481.95 16h 32m -13.01%04.09.2015 17:32 04.09.2015 17:55 EURUSD Sell 1000.00 - - 1.06896 1.06769 12.7 127000.00 22m 13.91% And then submit 7 times bigger position which risk actually the whole account. What if that bigger position goes to hell?

It is quite easy. Lets say you want to risk 1% per each trade.So you need to calculate value of 1 pip and set your TP and SL accordingly. P.S. if there is a gap over weekend your SL,TP wont be executed.So the calculation. My favourite pair EUR USD. Account balance $100,000. 1% is $1,000.The simplest example:Buy 1 lot of eur usd at the rate 1.18000.It does actually mean you spent $118,000 USD to buy 100,000 EUR.So if the rate move to 1.19000 then value of position is $119,000 USD. You made $1,000 profit (minus spread, commison and sllipage)So if the rate move to 1.17000 then value of position i...
