That was a demo account one of many I have blown in testing my methods. Click on general and you will see it is marked demo for broker fxpro. Do you want me to upload all 30 of my demo accounts from FxOpen, Alpari and Fxpro, that I have blown? What counts is an audited tax return of all real accounts. You avoided the question, which is noted. On myfxbook we can create a Harry Potter make believe world , but in the real world the IRS or Canadian tax authority wants to know about all those real accounts from Belize, Switzerland , even those hiding in fronting companies at Mauritius . They want...

Before one invests in a PAMM one would want to see all the trades to figure out what was the draw-down on each to see if the risk was excessive . One should not invest in a system that hides this information.

Your three listed real systems haven't been updated for days now, then there are those 9 systems on http://app.currensee.com/forexpert/external/profile/WIHFG.A , Are they all registered in your name or is it other people's money you are taking risks with?

How many Oanda sub accounts do you have and are you running an automated system using the oanda API? You have a good return on equity for the period employed, but need to have month on month of positive returns for at least 12 months to fully reflect the trends, counter trends and break-outs the market will experience. Just one month of negative equity would be red flag. Best of luck in your trading. 41 winners out of 42 is very good, but myfxbook needs to display the draw-downs of each individual trade weighted as % of equity as discussed in the suggestion box. This is your http://thesixthru...

It does take $5000 to open an offshore account which for a firm like http://www.myfxbook.com/members/WhyLose is no problem because he does it with other peoples money. He lists three winning accounts, the other 134 losing he doesn't tell us about. On http://www.whylose.com/ he writes "...Our blog posts some of the trades we make automatically via our Trade Copier...."We want to know about all the trades from all the accounts with the net gain or loss as % of equity employed. He lists three winning accounts each with a deposit of $3000, $3000 and $10000 for a total of $16000. Th...

Main problem with money managers are that they can setup hundreds of off-shore companies and hedge funds and only show you the funds that make money leaving out the losing accounts. They setup 100 EA's and let it trade these 100 funds automatically. You would need to get this fund managers audited tax return, what is he trading for himself. He must be able to show his 50 losing and 3 winning accounts in his personal name, the same losing accounts he shows the tax man. If he can't do this then the only way to quantify his trading skill would be a single http://www.stocktwits.com account...

It is up to the evaluator of the system. Myfxbook.com won't implement it though because the site is driven by ads. One would have to have an automation script that automatically downloads all the top 100 CSV files and then run an excel, python script to generate this number. Same problem with collective2.com, they don't present the trading stats in such a way that the true risk: reward ratio is clear. Risk:reward quantifies the long term sustainability of a trading method, its statistical edge. If we can reduce a jumbled mass of numbers to a single ratio we would make significant strid...

Another idea is to merge the length of time held factor with the pips gain : draw-down factor , if a position remains in draw down for to long and subsequently rallies, any such rally would be more due to random luck then market insight. See http://www.myfxbook.com/community/suggestion-box/add-column-for-draw-down/52604,11) The length a losing position was held must be factored. If a losing position takes to long to rally then the "random luck" factor increases. Each trade is assigned a "random luck" factor weighted for equity used, meaning a standard lot will have more im...

Lets rather not, we nearly had the world economy collapse because of systemic misrepresentation fraud form the lowest Russian hacker peddling EA's the hotshot traders at AIG writing naked put options. We need to dispel the myths and insist on evidence, facts that can be falsified as I explained in this google group thread: http://groups.google.com/group/futures-trading/browse_frm/thread/2ecad27b1e1aa13bA series of 22 posts that will enable an investor to critically evaluate claims and conclude that virtually nobody is making money in forex. It doesn't make your system look "bad", it just accurately quantifies the fact that your system involves large equity draw-downs and states this as a factor. The system might be profitable but then such profits must be large to compensate for the draw down which the pip-gain-factor will do. If your draw-down is 200 pips and your profit is 200 pips, then your weighted pips gain: weighted draw down factor would still be the same as 10 pip gain : 10 pip drawdown. Making 10 pips on 200 draw down would be unacceptable risk. In some cases 200:200 might not be acceptable, one should s...

Richard Dawkins chided people for their 'fallacy of incredulity' . David Berlinski replied " .... In appealing to the animidversions of others, he appeals to his own ability to believe almost anything ...." The investing public like Dawkins also do believe anything they are told which is why the Nasdaq hit 5000 points. Enron, Leahman , scams , hoaxes, UFO's etc. This inability to question things is why we have thousands of people trading forex, wasting their money and time ignoring the fact that 99% will eventually lose, only a few individuals manage to time the markets...

Thus one doesn't have to manually read through pages of trades to find a winning system, the (pip-gain-factor) allows a single number to quantify whether random luck or true trading skill was demonstrated, and it can easily be implemented in a spread sheet or script.

yes, one could do also do it graphically , it quantifies the risk/reward ratio. As a general rule if you make 10pips profit your drawdown should be no more than 10pips for a 1:1 profit ratio. Each trade's pip:drawdown ratio is then weighted as a % of deposit or equity. Every single weighted trade is then combined and then averaged for a single parameter which we shall callWeighted pips gain : weighted draw down (pip-gain-factor). Thus a standard lot trade that employed 10% of equity for a gain of 10pips for a draw down of 10 pips will have a higher positive pip-gain-factor than a micr...

I made another suggestion for having a draw-down column. EAch trade's pip gain and duration must be expressed as a function of draw down in order to quantify the risk the trade was exposed to. If the trade was to long in draw-down mode before turning a profit it would mean the trader was lucky. We don't want to trade on luck but on insight.
