I think it all depends on the strategy, if this is a scalper, then it will be highly dependent on the spread and execution rate which can jeopardize the real results greatly.What time span is that? 5 years?Results look really good, but too good to be true for live testing, the market is always working against you, but then again, with 8000+ trades, it is highly possible to have good returns, but the DD is what I would be leary of. So low that it generally implies a scalper, which I have never seen a scalper that actually makes it without huge DD in real life. I don't trust scalpers, too ...

My EAs all run together on same accounts so forward tests won't show individual EAs especially since they trade same pairs with multiple EAs. Instead I offer trials to my EAs that I sell.

Startup Capital of course if the EA IS profitable otherwise SCAMS are everywhere. I like most don't have unlimited funds to invest and so I sell my EAs to help get some additional income. The EAs make about 5% monthly with conservative settings so for the real investors instead of the get rich quick guys, they are exactly what is desired.

Real Investors don't want accounts that are highly leveraged, 10:1 is what real investors will want that are looking for low risk. Consistent returns and consistent low DD is what will be desired as well. No one with real money will want to have the risk of blowing the account with a chance of large returns. Once you learn that and can prove that you are consistent, then you will find someone willing to try using your method to make them money.

The more functions that are called outside the EA, the more time the EA will take to test. More internal variables in place of calling the same function such as getting the OrderOpenPrice() or another value multiple times will greatly speed up the EA.

The price for this EA is much too high for the EA based on what I see. To start, for realistic results in backtesting, I always use 2.5 pips as the spread so that covers most brokers rather than this one needing to be broker specific. I can easily make a backtest that is very similar if I make the spread as tight as he does.I would suggest avoiding this EA unless you have very tight spreads and only once more forward test data is available.I otherwise provide my EAs on a trial basis for 2 months for someone to test live on a broker of their choice.

Please publicize the Trades and trade sizes. Without making everything public, you can easily manipulate the data shown. Also most brokers do not offer 1:3000 leverage. Could you trade this on a 1:50 leveraged account and post full results to prove that the system is legitimate.

Agreed, a DD of no more than 20% should be the goal in my opinion. No one wants to see all of their money disappear and then need to make it back again.

I highly doubt that, I think we are just stuck in a tight range for the time being. I believe we are still in a down trend long term. Good luck though.

I believe the EURUSD will be going back down before the end of the year due to the Fed most likely raising the interest rate.I think 1.06 is easily possible again, if not lower because of this.

I did not get wiped out and made quite a bit. I had 11 round trip trades today with my EURUSD EA. Only one of them was bad (first Buy) since the market took a huge dive before resuming the uptrend. Same EA as I am letting others try out for free. See link below if you are interested.
