I agree with your statement as it stands, but, as ever, issue is with 'seems' and 'according to backtest'!
My concern is that the entry conditions have been curve-fitted to deal with the losses HiRider Original made (and I'm not suggesting this is malicious or has been done deliberately to mislead) which are easily checkable in backtest; but that the overall performance will remain the same once either version of HiRider hits conditions which it hasn't encountered before. Obviously what I'm hoping is that the losses made by HiRider Original were a consequence of frequent market scenarios which the new version will encounter frequently and now avoid; and also that this isn't 1 of 100 unprepared-for hurdles which could trip up HiRider's logic (as I'll be bored, dead or broke - or all 3 - by the time they get to HiRider 100).
I note that the original HiRider (which is trading within Fusion which I've also got on myfxbook in my FRWC demo portfolio - you can analyse by magic number to get results which isolate HiRider trades) took the exact same trades as HiRider Advanced on March 23, with the same degree of success.

I've held off from my refund request based on HiRider and HiRider Advance performance to date. Just curious as I just went live with Advanced this Tuesday, anyone else seeing a drought of trades these past few days? markob100's history would match my observations as well. Just making sure its not an issue with my VPS or broker feed.
Cheers!

Buggy
Check Fusion Forum - Some of us ran into same issue on HA with no trades, put it on a new demo, apply to older account does not work, suspect it is to do with peoples default settings in MT4 under Tools Options which says do not trade as default on change of EA (or words to that effect), if this isn't obvious to you when you look I can post a screen shot if need be. If this setting is changed prior to application of new EA it should trade, otherwise it won't. You could try changing setting, then remove EA, close MT4, Restart and apply EA again, this will also likely work.

HA on Demo trading Negative against deposit for about a week now, I'm not so sure they have HA figured out yet, have had PM of small profit on live account but I'm not seeing it in my demo results.
Best results I have is using Fusion with all others turned off (I just set up a fresh demo of this and attached it to my profile so folks can follow it's progress)
I hate to encourage people to seek refunds, but unless you have faith in FRWC to get their act together eventually and can forgo the $1000 you have to seriously consider this option folks.
To sum up my thoughts / views - FRWC is an experimental work in slow progress, not a money printing machine. If you can live with that, kool, otherwise, go get your refund process started and remember this experience as part of the decision making process for your next adventure in EA's - good luck to all ;-)

kelrine posted:yes yes... unless have source code to check the logic and add more coding to improve the weakness or else will encountered erractic performance. IMHO
The $1000 can be use for testing out other EAs (with real $ back guarantee) than letting it burn.

OK, it's a short demo... but you have to say, so far so good - particularly in view of the bath 'old' HiRider took this week. The question is, though, is this one robot worth USD 1,000 - even if it continues operating so unsustainably accurately, the ROI's still pretty low. I'd spend USD 100 on it, if it remains consistent, but not USD 1,000. It's simply not profitable enough for that cost. Shame really.

Fusion has another huge drawdown on March 25, this time by Hirider (5 simultaneous trades) and the another 5 open positions with -$1k as of now. See this link in this forum: https://www.myfxbook.com/members/fusionrobot/fusion-v-robot/18386

This robot has 1:20 reward vs risk. Obviously you will win many times, but over the long run, I don't believe you can survive with this kind of robot.
If this kind of risk reward is ok for you, it's not too difficult to create an expert advisor. Just create a system to catch extreme price action using technical indicator like Bollinger Band, RSI, etc then target 12 pips with Stop Loss 210 pips. You will win many times like Hirider Advanced, but it's just a matter of times before that consecutive losses will wipe all your gain and more.

@eafinder: agreed. The EA is living on a knife edge the whole time.
@kelrine: yes, although it was good to see that 'advanced' HiRider didn't take the same positions (I've been keeping an eye on 'old' HiRider in my own Fusion forward test at https://www.myfxbook.com/members/markob100/fusion-121-collective/20924 - you can analyse by magic number under 'custom analysis' to show the contribution of each component of the Fusion EA). Fusion's a horrible EA - as it's a Frankenstein's monster of bits of various EAs there's no cohesion to its strategy, it's like watching a monkey with a crayon. And the FRWC page has a serious note warning people about running more than one EA on an account - well how about running 5 EAs in an EA, guys?!

FYI, I've now applied for my FRWC refund. Getting the predictable runaround with a lengthy 'please reconsider' email and a request for trading statements (which I've honoured - 30 day statements for Fusion and LMD which are also on MyFXBook) but hopefully that will be resolved in a day or two.
Anyway will leave this up and running until the licence terminates. I think I set open trades to public, so you can see the EA is currently nursing a large floating drawdown. Will be interesting to see where that ends up!

This was on BeamFX - but NB a demo account. If you were running live that may have made a difference? Also had some huge floating drawdown for several days which ended up in a profit in the end - but I think (can't quite recall now) came pretty close to SL. So slightly different price feed might have made all the difference.
