Like I said, the relevant settings - including the risk - are specified at the link I posted above. The risk is 1% as you can read there.

I don't manually intervene but I must admit I haven't been paying a lot of attention to the forward tests lately so it could be that it was down at that time.

I updated its terminal to build 509 on the 13th and it started acting up. Seems to be fine now after several restarts.I recommend shutting down all EAs prior to the holidays and restarting them several days after the new year, but I am trying to run the forward tests as close to how the regular user would run them as possible, meaning that I don't stop their trading during the holidays unless the vendor emails a recommendation.

Was bound to happen at some point, I'm a bit impressed it took this long. Still, drawdown less than 20%? Not bad given the other stats.

Most EAs will have differences from a broker to another. I didn't close anything manually.

I haven't used it anywhere else so I'm afraid I can't make a recommendation. FXOpen has a price feed that is very similar to PrivateFX but I can't vouch for them as I haven't used my account there. What I can tell you is that my account was very lucky: iirc a couple months ago there were a few days when the EA lost heavily and that coincided with a downtime of my tests of about a week or so. I would advise also looking at other people's statements and kind of making an average before making a purchase decision.

Yes, there is, but it is private - reserved for eareview.net backtesting - hence there is no website for it.

The EA has a huge stop loss and if you look more carefully or if you sort the positions by the number of pips you will find the losses. You need to purchase a license for it, more details are available at http://eareview.net/live-forward-test/two-percent-daily

A full SL will result in a ~20% drawdown. It's not likely to happen but it will surely happen. My other Kangaroo account had a >40% drawdown a couple years ago when several SL occurred in a row, but it's worth mentioning that it's a cent account with very large spreads and that other customers running the EA didn't have all the SLs my account had.Anyway, I wouldn't worry about it too much seeing that the system is no longer available for sale.

Cent account, of course, I don't have that kind of cash to put in a forward test account. Anyway, Martingales are a chance game. I probably should have updated to the new version which might have saved the account. I'm still considering restarting the forward test with the new version (although the new version is still a Martingale and thus inherently risky). The main issue is that I didn't have the time to take care of it yet.

Well, I’m at a loss. It looks like the dedicated machine that runs my VPS instances was somehow frozen between 30.04 and 06.05. None of the EAs that I have in forward test took any trades during that period. The really weird thing is that checking the uptime of the VPSes results in some 3+ months so they weren’t down. What’s even more weird is that all the logs stop on 30.04 and resume on 06.05 as if nothing would have happened, there’s not even a server disconnect recorded. It’s like the time was completely lost. Not sure what to make of it.In any case, my accoun...

I guess... Just checked its terminal and it's running fine so I imagine there were no signals during the past few days.
