4% Hell we do that in 1 day.... We had a member - with this broker, with a high performance systems like our they will actively block with endless re-quotes... told the member pack his bags and move to a new broker. systems that place hundreds of trades per day they hate... that's not cool.... If you have to keep tweaking settings to a system... you might want to put it back on the shelf. your "paid for" trading system should be able to teach its self and learn on its own. it should work as soon as you pull it out the box. be totally plug-n-play. forex is a 50/50 odds deal but when you have to change stuff around you can easily till the odds against yourself. causing you to blow your account. i would take the advice from the above posters...

One more thing, there is 1 exception. to the above logic.Yes, i would take out the biggest bank loan, max out your credit cards Mortgage the house for 110% or whatever you can squeeze out of it and bet the farm.IF! you are terminally ill and was about to die from some horrible incurable disease or your on the FBI Most wanted list and already looking at a life sentence or death row. then you have nothing to lose....Crank up the leverage to 500:1 and Go Big...

Yes & No! It's a lot better then taking out a second mortgage on your house "never do it! or dipping into your 401k savings or kids college tuition. if you take out a bank loan, the worse that will happen is you will have bad credit for the next 7 years "if your in america" but if you have to borrow money to trade , then "no" you should not be trading... I would stick with GftFOREX.com Deal Books, Hands Down 100 x times better then Metatrader. you can trade much faster open and closing multiple positions in a single click plus set up complex buy and sell orders and walk away. they have an automation studio program as well. but maybe use metatrader charting on an additional computer for reference with your favorite indicator combinations.

Trailing stops are good, when you can't watch your trade. and are good for trading a news event. another type of stop loss that we use a lot is a time stop... Get yourself a cheap kitchen timer. when the bell goes off. time to exit. Keeps you from over trading and gets you out of a stagnant trade.

Does no matter were you get in at there really is no such thing as a perfect entry.., just be correct on the direction of the trend.Trying to Find the perfect entry "Picking tops and bottoms. is a pain and not worth the amount of missed good trades you will have because you missed the entry by 5 pips trying to get the perfect entry.
