Today 17 May 2011 I have transitioned this GoMarkets account to SkyDesks and changed from Blessing3 to Evolution. Because GoMarkets does allow hedging I will try my best to set this up as a 'Trade both ways' setup with some available pairs.
If you have no clue what this is all about google: 'Talon LLC Evolution' (or 'BlessingEA') and read. I am not here to explain to each individual how Blessing or Evolution works. Go to the forum, read, learn, backtest, in short...do your own homework.
If after doing all of the above you still need some help or advice, you may contact me. If you need coaching I can coach, but all I ask is that you use my referral when you get your broker. Fair?

Hi Gerald,
Always a pleasure for me to see your set-ups going well and to follow your activity. I know that you're one of the Pro Testers, and so wondered whether or not you've got some 'optimized' set files for doing TBW on EV?
I started using the EURUSD_5M_Autolot set file, forced FMC=0 / FMC=1 and also set AnyEntry=true on my account, and it was a great money spinner but at times it did plunge into some heavy drawdowns but survived. Just wondered if you ahve any 'safer' set files...

Yes I do, these AUDNZD and EURGBP files are fresh but need testing. I cannot release/share them until they are deemed ready.
But, you will notice that autolot just scared the hell out of me. Very unpredictable stuff even though I had backtested them with $1K and 0.1 lots!
I could have lost all my money today since margin was down to 230%! Still could...
reducing the lot size to adjust for autolot seems ridiculous, because the set file will make lots less. So my advice for autolot files...watch out! And even with TBW you can still have two files stuck with autolots eating your margin as I found out today.
But this FMC=0 file went from $1K to $200K in 3 months with my backtests, lots at 0.1 and MM=true with agressivenes to 10...try that! I'm tempted to split my $10K into 10 accounts...if I still have the $10K!

The best thing to do is look at the wiki, then set files for EV and see what kind of risk, diversification you want for your account. Every account is different because of margin requirements, leverage and balance, so It is up to you. I prefer eurusd and gbpusd and the rest I keep B3. EV will evolve to have better hedging schemes and I can't wait to get my hands on that to test the new features.

Very sad day, I chose to close all my EURCHF positions since it does not seem as if the Swiss bank will let the Franc go below 1.20...If it does go down, I'll be pissed! 30 days of trading lost...

Join the club Gerald!
I was running the exact same set file as yourself on my main nano account. My trades were still open, and I foolishly thought that I could open a manual hedge on KnightFire when the price dipped as close to 1.2 as possible and try to scalp my way out or something. Only thing is that Blessing auto closed all my trades as soon as the hedge was opened!
Either way, I'm back to where I was on the 8th August.. same boat... bloody Swiss...

Sometimes it's better to cut your losses than to drag yourself down: I just decided to cut my EURUSD basket at a loss of about $460...about 3 days worth of profits...but better than a whole month!
My take profit was too far up and I risked more losses on the downside, so I'm happy with my decision although not happy with the loss.
GBPUSD still has a large basket, but I expect the correlation of the cable to break down from the Euro at some point as it becomes a safe haven currency.
