Hi Guys,@beren: No problem :) I understand where you're coming from. There is no trial because it's very hard to give a "trial" for something that you get open access to. If I had a free trial for 1 month then people could just "get in" take the F4 source and then simply avoid joining the community. Myfxbook should, they can route their connections to MT4 servers through free proxies, thus eliminating any possible filtering that Metaquotes might make on their servers. If they have 70K+ accounts, they can route them through 100 free proxies, having only 700 connections per proxy which if they divide evenly amongst brokers would result in no disconnection issues (I believe). Worth a try at least.

I suggest myfxbook implements the auto-update feature through internet proxies. Choose a random proxy to update each account, this should get around all the problems from Metaquotes attempting to block large number of connections from a single IP or the myfxbook IP addresses. AccountBalance() will show balance as it displays (so in a cent account it will show the balance in cents and there is no way to tell they are cents and not dollars). However different brokers usually assign cent/real accounts to different servers so it is a simple matter of myFXBook recording which servers are real Vs which servers are cent in order to label accounts appropriately. I think this would be a fine addition although further verification would be needed to confirm that brokers do not manage both account types on the same server.

This feature is absolutely amazing :) The most important thing is that this means that myfxbook has a direct MT4 API. This opens up the door to direct trading with MT4 servers without Metatrader (which would be amazing).

Wouldn't it be possible to do a "weekly update" option using just investor access ? You can easily update accounts once a week (even once a day) by directly accessing broker servers. The weekly update option could even only work around market close so brokers wouldn't mind the additional traffic. Certainly this would provide a very good option for those people who do not need to have constant updates but just a general daily/weekly updated overview without the hassle of setting up an EA/FTP publisher. What do you think ?

Currently the invitation system requires us to generate separate URL invitations for all the private trading systems we want people to access. For people like me, who regenerate these invitations frequently, it becomes quite tedious. What I suggest is a feature which allows the generation of a single invitation for a whole portfolio.
