They'd need to amend it so that it actually has historic records on it first. Which I believe was another suggestion a while a go.It would make things easier. I wouldn't have to keep referrring to Forex Factory then

They have a beta MT4 platform but the project to use MT4 has been scrapped. There are a few solutions to using Dukascopy though. You can bridge trades across from MT4 to Jforex or you can convert your code to Jforex. Alternatively you can use PT Multistation which allows you to log into a Dukascopy account and use native MQL to develop on it.

I'm a little confused as to why you are posting the trade history details from MT4 when the exact same information is on your MyFxBook trade history

That's exactly the answer I got off Forex Bulletproof when I asked them about their ten year backtest blowing the account. They suggested that I run the backtest on a shorter period.I'm aware of the hit and run strategy for Martingales, there are some proponents of it's use on this site as well. Looking at your current performance you stand to double your balance in roughly three months. Providing there is enough equity in the account then I guess you can take out your original stake and be on a free trade. Hopefully all your customers can and more importantly will do that as well....

Considering that Martingale strategies tend to get wiped out by Black Swan events ( such as the Kobe Earthquake in Japan in 1995 that wiped out Barings Bank due to Nick Leeson ) you ideally want to be carrying out a backtest over the longest period possible in my opinion, regardless of what chart patterns you are looking for.

You have to admit it looks kind of suspicious.A new EA shows up and then all of a sudden new users appear and start carpet bombing praise.Two conclusions are possible1) It's a self publication campaign.2) You made all your users aware of the fact that the site is here and asked them to come talk up your EA.Given that about 95% of the commercial forex EA market is filled with dubious marketing practices it's going to be the first conclusion that people jump to.I asked in the other thread, I guess you missed it, over what period are the backtests generated?

So many people are into it exactly because it promises the kind of income most people dream of.Unfortunately the attrition rate is about 95% but if you've got the persistence to make it then it is worthwhile.I wish you the best of luck with it!

You'd have to monitor all trades on MT4 and create a flag file if something changed, you could then clear the flag file once an upload had taken place. My stop losses can change in a fraction of a second continuously on some of my orders so it wouldn't be appropriate for me. Other traders raise orders every few seconds so it wouldn't work for them.If both options were available then it might make sense, however if you are that bothered about your bandwidth either get some more or upload to MyFxBook every few hours. Although I have to say I sometimes have up to a dozen installations...

Market depth isn't showing you what the market makers are doing. It's showing you what the other people in the market are doing. That's how I understand it.So, if I place a sell stop order below the market I then become a part of that market depth. i.e. I am looking to sell at a price below the current market price. Therefore I would say that market depth does to some extent display the potential sentiment in the market.But again, this is only my understanding of it, correct me if I'm wrong 😀

Yes, set it to trade from 0:00 until 0:01, that should minimise risk.Unfortunately probably 95% of the forex world is either internet marketeers making profit from people or downright scams run by organised crime syndicates or disgruntled ex-traders that lost their own money and it's very hard to find something that works well for any length of time.As a general rule of thumb, any commercial EA sold for $97 or less is junk.
