That all depends on the risk taken on the accounts and the consistency over time. Any sophisticated investor would be happy with what would equate to an annual return of 30-40% if it was consistently delivered over a number of years with little drawdown on the account.

It's a demo account and the expectancy is 0.5 pips. Hard to say without being able to see the trade history but this could be an arb EA. Regardless 0.5 pip expectancy on a demo account doesn't feel like it's reproducable from my experience. Open up the trade history so we can take a look 😄

You could start by sharing some of your verified accounts on here so that people can see your performance and judge for themselves if they want to invest with you. That would be a good start. Then be active, and helpful.I used to be super active on here and I'd have people messaging me constantly asking me to manage their accounts.

If it's prop firms then he will have pass and payment certificates in his name for every account he has passed and got payment for in his name. If he does not have a decent history of these without gaps I would be suspicious of his ability to consistently generate profits.

Update 01/03/2024: Nova have now paid the payment that is missing. I've upgraded them to a 3. If they continue to pay and get better at it, I will further upgrade them.

It's generally considered that the banks do use news releases to move the market in the direction that suits their order book. Which is the general consensus on the market as a whole. The banks and big players go through a period of accumulation of positions and then a sell-off of these positions. It's far more complicated than this in reality, but always remember you are not the one in control of the markets.

I opened an account with Ingot in November 2023, funded it with $6000.I didn't end up trading there and withdrew the money in January.They sent me back $5683So basically stole $317 off me.They also cancelled my account with no reason given.I would avoid this broker.

Inconsistent in paying outOkay, I have a mixed experience with Nova Funding. I currently have two accounts with them.The first account I applied for payout on January 10th ( yes over a month ago! )I received a Payout Approval from Peter in Payouts the very next day!And then nothing, no money no communication, account in review.So I chased it on January 16th, then January 17th.I did get a little confused with the communication as the second account I had was breached on consistency.I then checked back with them on January 25th and just got an auto response from the payouts team.So I emailed sup...

Took out a server with them last week. There were some mixups with the setup but we managed to get there in the end.Then this weekend I got an email notifying me ( with ZERO prior warning ) that the server had been suspended.I'd already paid for it when I took it out!So they suspended it with no reason and no notification.I'm running live trades on there with open positions.It's Sunday and despite saying they are 24/7 there is nobody around to solve this problem.I'd avoid using them.
Any of the old guard still around?

So, I've not been particularly active on here for maybe seven years or so!I've had my head down and been busy getting on with stuff. I recently thought I'd start getting a bit more involved in the community again, maybe try and give some insights from 14 years of trading to the new blood!Just wondering if any of the old guard are around that I used to chat with on here or whether they've all moved on to working at Starbucks or whatever :D
