Hello, Just to clarify this isn't my account. My FGB account is private so I'd be amazed if you're seeing it. FGB does take different trades sometimes, depending on broker but also you could see different trades at the same broker. You will get slightly different ticks even on the same broker due to latency etc. and one tick could make the difference between being in a trade and not being in a trade. You need to compare your trades with this account over a longer term to consider if the broker/setup you are using is working for you. If you're getting noticeably worse performanc...

I hope not or I may as well take my money out and start following the horses.The only way to trade whether it is manually or automated is by using a proven strategy. The only way to prove a strategy is to test it. The only data we have to test it is back testing on historical data or by forward testing on current data.The best way to back test data is on as large a statistical sample and over as many trades as possible. Same here, I started out with it by intervening, I lost more than the bot. Often when you decide it's not going to break resistance it does. There are a few things to think about.1) You haven't backtested "your version"2) If you can trade better than the bot why aren't you trading manually?3) What's your trading plan and how did you test it?If you don't have a clear trading plan that's been backtested then you're gambling not trading.

I decided to check out my backtest and FGB shows a small loss over an entire two year period ( 1999-2000 ). Not sure if most people would tolerate an entire two years of no growth.Be interesting to see if other people saw this same bad period in their backtests.If you look at the behaviour of the EurUsd recently it has been appalling, my guess is it's down to too much government interference. If it carries on in this manner and the state of the Euro zone is possibly an indication that it will then FGB will continue to lose in my opinion. No idea, it's not my EA. Send an email to support on their home page. In theory though as you can change the license once you use it there is no reason why you can't buy an existing licence and switch the account.

It doesn't work as expected it's showing both the remote and the local Ip address as 127.0.0.1 for the terminal.exe process.

Hi,No it calculates percentage growth based on what's in the account. It will show the withdrawals on the balance graph but not on the growth chart.Best regards Steve

Hmm let's all run off and use a grid system that's "proved" itself over nine months. We've been here before back in 2011. People saying "Oh FGB is broke, hasn't made any money for ages" and then it goes on a good winning streak. I generally find that the second everyone believes that something is completely screwed is the exact second before it proves itself. But hey, you're welcome to your opinion and it's your prerogative to use dodgy staking systems.

As was pointed out recently, the lot size was recently increased from 0.15 to 0.20 on this account. That makes the recent losses look far worse than they are. It was just bad timing. I still believe this EA will return to winning form.

It's had bad runs before. It will recover. What I am more concerned about is receiving FGB emails promoting FX Phantom which on first inspections seems to be an appalling EA that is happy to risk massive drawdowns in order to win a handful of pips just to push up the win rate - a losing strategy if ever I saw one.

I'm bemused as to why people aren't happy with FGB's performance. This EA relies on a solid trading methodology and backtests well over a sustained period of time. It's simple, put some money in an account, leave it for several years to compound. Retire. That is of course providing the Euro lasts that long ;)
