Thank you for this thread. I am so glad that I gave in to my friend’s pushes and opened a forex trading account. It has been precisely 5 months of trading in total for me, including 20 days of demo, and I have made more money than I did in a year of doing stupid jobs. I was spending more to keep myself entertained earlier than I was saving. And now all the money I earn while trading currencies on Fxview just go into savings. I know about the risks involved but if you are careful with your trades and have a well defined plan, there's only going to be gain.

$30 is quite a small investment. I don’t think that you should expect profits for your investment.

Fxview: low commissions, faster withdrawals, multiple regulations, better customer support, ActTrader supportTD Ameritrade: much better for stock investments, no account minimums, large investment selection, good customer supportOnly found TD Ameritrade expensive for broker assisted trades.

Are you sure? That’s a huge number. I paid $10 in total to Fxview for the 5 round trades that I made last week. I think even with high commission brokers like Fidelity the charges never amount to so much.

Have a solid trading plan, of which risk management should constitute a major part. Equally important is to use a well established broker for trading. A broker that offers a wide range of tradable assets, is regulated, and has versatile funding methods. Fxview, IB and Fidelity are some examples. Hopefully using them you’ll be sooner closer to your dream! Like me! Good luck!
