thats quite wise... If you backtest this strategy Jan and Feb were NOT a good month... and explains why you have this particular MYFX history starting on March...Anyway, tomorrow on ECB talk you might want to see whats gong to happen. Cheers,Vlad

the only pair worth trading with this EA are really EURUSD,GBPUSD, USDCHF and some others which he does not trade...

Does not make sense to me... I know what it did in the past... and considering not much has chg in code I can make judgement of what is going to do in the future. At this point in time is already obvious which pairs are suitable for this EA and which ones are not. So, this alone will change how you play with it in the future. So, ignoring what it did in the past , does not sound reasonable to me. Cheers

Hey Steve, check back the trades of the first month. Not only he was risking more than 5%, he was at some point trading more than 3 trades per pair.03.14.2014 15:15 03.14.2014 16:20 EURUSD Buy 3.60 1.39316 1.39115 -20.1 -757.77 1h 5m -5.23% Thats how he achieved the really high gains.As I said bf, this is a normal strategy of commercial EAs... go "ALL-IN" and if it survives that month, publish the account results and lower the risk and keep going.As I said also, at some point, I saw 12 trades opened at the same time in 1 event - as you all know this is a News Trade Breakout EA... th...

Always easier to ask then to analyze right? ;)Look at when it trade, the usual delta-spread at those periods and how many pips it gains or loses...and tell me!!!.... the answer is NO in my view! Nothing bad about having low latency...but I dont see it crucial here...

Btw, for those that like to see what a nice broker can do... check what my broker done on the USDCHF this night...I have other trade accounts in other brokers, this did NOT happen there!

Understood...But if you read my previous post you will see that I still think this EA has a good performance.But, many ppl will blindly read the 2000% and think that can achieve that risk "free".Thats why my comment.I believe in interpreting and sharing things clearly so anyone can make a judgement on these EAs... even though many ppl dont have the fundamentals to do so...Another failure is to analyze Pips gained... I can generate 100 pips , by entering 10 trades at the same time and only winning 10 pips in each trade!In the end of the day you will read 100 pips win... but was it rea...

Seems to me like you want to keep both , as they work best in different pairs ( I guess for obvious reasons, as one is BO EA the other is a Rev-BO).Both achieved the really high % in profit , by risking quite a lot in the first month....Which is the usual commercial EA strategy: open many accounts with max risk till you get 1 lucky month which will boost the account 2-3 or more times, and then reduce the risk... Ppl are attacked by the large %, but never really look back and consider what was the risk taken to achieve it.If you want a real good EA, you MUST consider how much did the guy risk t...

Do a "simple statistical" check. Pick random 10 (or how many you feel like ;) ) traders in any of these sites where ppl post their results. For example: forexfactory. And see for yourself.Cheers,Vlad

Thats for sure not what I meant... but go back and analyze some of the losers there's a pattern...Anyway, enough of tips for now...Really this is one of the best EAs done in a long time... just stop bitching lower your risk (taking in consideration all pairs + all possible orders) and its just $$$$Cheers,Vlad
