Hi,Is it possible to add a new column into the trade history for trade duration please? It would help with analysing strategies to see if I can close losers down earlier for a smaller loss. Thanks

I must admit ability to withdraw my money onto my debit card had never been one of the criteria I've even considered for a broker. Good spreads, stable connection, good execution and direct market access are the main things I look for. I don't care if they send my money back to me in used £10 notes in a sack providing the other criteria are achieved.

For icustom() just use the number against the colour of each component in the indicator property tab.You also need to pass the settings for the indicator. Here's an exampledouble IndicatorValue= iCustom(NULL, 0, "Indicator", 10, 350, 1, 0);Breaking it down ( currency, timeframe, indicator name, first indicator parameter, second indicator parameter, indicator buffer ( from the colour tab ), bar number )

Thanks Soeren, are you regulated? You need to be to be a money manager with Dukascopy I believe as well as some of the other regulated brokers.Your strategy seems to be working well but I personally wouldn't be happy with the drawdown. I get twitchy when I see equity drawdown. My own EA, which similar to yours has only been running it's current configuration for less than a month is also around the 20% return mark with an equity risk of 1% per trade.I plan to put it on a live account this week and see how it performs before, like you, offering it out to other investors.

Caught the secondary move upwards on EurJpy, 93 pip winner.Close to 19% return in less than one month with only a 1% equity risk per trade.I am going to be starting a smallish live account for this within the next few days. It's officially moving into beta test phase.

Yep, I can see the benefit of compounding and of taking on clients and that having enough clients with $100 would actually generate a good enough income.Sir Williams was talking about trading your own $100 and in the first month $20 sure isn't going to pay my bills. It's a nice thought to think "I only need to risk $100 and I can make a decent return". The point I'm making is that to get that 20% return you probably have to make trading your full time profession.

I think Sir Williams was referring to trading your own $100. Not everybody elses $100.Totally true about the new boss. I traded a friends capital once and he actually sat in work and loaded up some charts and was emailing me all day about the trades that had come up and comparing them to how I was doing. How crazy is that? Also true about not wanting to party alone, but you also need to consider the fact that wealth needs to be earned or it will never be appreciated. People who get rich quick with little effort on their part generally end up blowing it.

Having traded other people's money ( and a reasonable sum as well ), I can say that it does increase the stress of trading. I certainly would not recommend it unless you have ice water in your veins! That said if you can master the psychological aspect or it or just couldn't care less if you lose other people's money then it's a good way to get more funds for your own trading account.Making 20-40% of $100 isn't going to pay the bills and for a lot of people trading is a full time profession and so has to pay the bills.

Previously I thought Arbatov was trading arbitrarily. However I'm starting to rethink that hypothesis, as he would surely have got out of any short positions as soon as BOJ released the funds the other night. Instead he appears to have added to it. So it seems that maybe he is following a mechanical system.

It's beginning to look as though Mr Arbatov's strategy is to try and catch a falling knife and if he fails to add to the position.Fine when the markets are ranging but not a winning strategy long term, especially not on GbpJpy which can go into some fairly strong trends from time to time. He's been caught out by a couple of strong moves now.

They'd need to amend it so that it actually has historic records on it first. Which I believe was another suggestion a while a go.It would make things easier. I wouldn't have to keep referrring to Forex Factory then

They have a beta MT4 platform but the project to use MT4 has been scrapped. There are a few solutions to using Dukascopy though. You can bridge trades across from MT4 to Jforex or you can convert your code to Jforex. Alternatively you can use PT Multistation which allows you to log into a Dukascopy account and use native MQL to develop on it.

I'm a little confused as to why you are posting the trade history details from MT4 when the exact same information is on your MyFxBook trade history

That's exactly the answer I got off Forex Bulletproof when I asked them about their ten year backtest blowing the account. They suggested that I run the backtest on a shorter period.I'm aware of the hit and run strategy for Martingales, there are some proponents of it's use on this site as well. Looking at your current performance you stand to double your balance in roughly three months. Providing there is enough equity in the account then I guess you can take out your original stake and be on a free trade. Hopefully all your customers can and more importantly will do that as well....
