I would say it was just random result on the overloaded broker's server - orders that came first in went first out.

Actually I had troubles with different brokers and in most acute cases a strong letter with a reference to go to their regulating authority with the Ombudsman did the trick and they refunded me (there were some very dubious trades/freezes).

Do you know their FSC BVI license number? Just trying to make sure money are safe with them. I found they are self-regulated with ARIF but a proper regulation would be great.

Concerning Universal, I too find it suspicious, they claim being regulated by FSC of BVI, but it is not said on the web site and I did not find any records of them on the FSC web site. Besides, according to FPA it is a whitelabel of ACM which is the company to stay away from..http://www.forexpeacearmy.com/public/review/www.universal-fx.com

I have abandoned the later recently as they hiked their spreads by .5 pips from December and never lowered, then their "upgrade" actually meant shutting down the NY server and move all the traffic to the UK servers I was using and in result UK servers slowed down too. With the former I never had any good reports to be honest.

First wave - small losses, second wave - gains, total: +0.5%Lobo, check your execution, it's not MDP but your broker - likely spreads killed you, maybe modification times were bad too. But this kind of losses happen when your max stop loss of 20 pips is hit, which is likely to happen on a spread hike. It was not scheduled news, but this 1Tr USD IMF news made very strong move and some brokers could not waste a chance to fuck their customers.

I was trading FGB for months and always had same trades like the reference account, same broker. Later used their trade copier and traded with another broker. Also worked well. To weather rough patches this EA generate you need to be modest with leverage. Position sizing recommended in the manual makes sense but could be even less. But of course people want to invest 100 bucks and turn in to 10k in 1 month. This won't work. Nothing will.

A losing day today. Gave back all this year's profits and still owe some. All trades seen profits, but never pulled back far enough so closed in losses.

It's 1 usd per 0.1 million of usd traded, you trade when you open position and when you close. So 1 lot on eurusd will cost extra 2*1*1.28 = 2.56 usd as when you buy 100k euro you sell around 128k usd (currently) and vice versa. Add to this Dukas fees and for a small account under 5k usd you are looking at around 15 usd per lot of eurusd roundtrip traded, i.e. 1.5, which makes their effective spread around 2.2-2.4 pips for eurusd.Now it all changes when you trade 50k+ usd account, but then you start to feel FTT burden as your Dukas comissions gone low to 18 usd per million and you also can...
