backtestsI started out doing tick, but it was horribly slow. So I tried control points, and I noticed there was virtually zero difference in the resultant trades. So...here are tests for the 4 primary currencies, using the default settings.....except lot size. I used fixed 0.01 lot. I had intended to run them on $1000, but forgot to change it. So they are all on $10k. My personal thoughts--- I believe the system has potential. It does NOT handle sudden, major shifts in the trend well at all. I got a response from the REV Trader PRO support already. So their support is very responsive. Here is the response:EDIT: Since it will reduce my cost by about $50, I will be taking them up on this offer.

It will be on real money, but I won't be making the account public because there will be other systems in there with it. I plan on allowing it to trade fixed 0.01 lot until it has proven itself.....or it has been refunded.

They didn't say anything about special charges of any sort. Because of this, as far as I am concerned, they are entirely responsible for any extra charges. I will keep everyone posted on how this situation turns out. I have sent messages to both clickbank, and the REV Trader PRO support about this.

I decided to give it a test run and purchased it today. My receipt said the charge would be $697.00. My bank just called me about possible fraudulent activity, and the biller, which matches the name on the receipt, is charging me $747.91!!

News is a suckers game. The market movers use news releases to further their profits buy getting people to confidently part with their money. Ever seen a news release spike hard, only to be forceably pushed the opposite direction...in seemingly total disagreement with the release? That is what I mean. The big players know the news well before the retail traders, so they already have a game plan.Ignore the news releases. I hope you have already changed your password to your VPS and contacted support about the successful hack of your VPS. This is a very serious problem, and if someone is trying to make this EA look bad so you will stop using it....they completely have the capacity to wipe your account right at this very moment.

Normally, I would agree that any grid or martingale system will eventually die. That said, it all depends on whether or not it has been calculated to deal with mega-trends. If the balance is large enough, and the lot size small enough, it could survive. But, a person must keep in mind, not many accounts can survive a 2000 pip run, let alone a 12000 pip run....and both do happen.Historically speaking the system has been performing reasonably (~10% max DD), until recent history. It is more important to understand the strategy behind the system. What has the strategy been tested in?- Long term, private account? No good for investors. Long term 99% accurate historical data.....then it depends on the system type. - Does it use a small stoploss??? No good for investors. - What types of markets does it deal well with?
