I initiated the freeze after take profit mode on this. As I think about things a little more, and knowing how quickly things can turn against you, I am now concerned about running ULTRA on a FinFX account. The profit transfers have to happen manually by someone in their back office and it sometimes takes 2 days for these to happen. 2 days is an eternity with ULTRA. I'm going to let this one stop and restart the account in Traders Way.

Yes, it is a black day and all your fault! 😈 Just my shot at being bitter...Hey, its only one bad trade, for me anyway, and it isn't closed yet. We'll see. As you look at your equity curve on myfxbook, your returns are much more stable over the first half period and increasingly volatile over the second half. Do you have any sense for why that is?Paul, at Forex Steam told me I shouldn't put the news indicator on the chart. I asked him how we know its working. Still awaiting a reply.Ken

Regards your profile on mfb you trade more than 5 years, right? Which such long experience you should know that your trading approach will cost you account after account, its only a question of time. Im speaking of own bad experiences, long time ago. Good luck anyway! Your comments truly are baseless. I hope to be as fortunate and make as much as Jayman has on these systems in 5 years!

Surrealistik;You are 100% correct. My strategy with martingales is to transfer every dollar of closed profits out weekly. I am coming very close to having 100% profits withdrawn on my Forex envy account. I still have a ways to go on the Forex Hacked account.A prime example of this being a required technique is Forex Envy's ULTRA strategy. I started it up a week ago Sunday with 3,000 dollars, the account blew out the following Thursday, but I managed to withdraw 6,900 in profits before it blew. Not a bad return for 4 days even with it blowing out.

Radek;I know. Martingales scare me too. If you want to make money though. I've not found anything else that comes close. If Steam works, it will be a non martingale first for me. I try to keep my risk settings low enough and my accounts properly funded, and, for the most part, they have treated me well.I do not have experience with FGB. Jayman;Yea, there are some real pukes on these boards. What makes it even funnier is he posts his inflammatory bullshit and then uses his tag line to promote his business/employer! I know I always look for human debris when looking for a client...I too had issues with Hacked over the holidays. No more trading from 12/15 through about 1/7 any more. I have been running a 50k demo since mid October and it survived well using a base lot size of .01 per 8K of capital.

Radek;I did repuchase Steam last night. A couple questions if I may. Are you using the light version with the news filter? I did install the news executables in the indicator folder. When I drag them on the chart, it looks a little nonsensical to me. The first reportednews event is nothing with all zeros. The second news event was new home sales from 4,404 days ago. Tony;Yea, I'm doing an all or nothing on this one. I will learn from it too. It is not at all typical for me but it is a very small account, for me anyway. Its less than 2% of my portfolio, so yes, I am rolling the dice, on this one only. All the other real systems are getting withdrawals weekly and will continue to do so.

Radek;Thank you for what you have done and are sharing. It is always nice to run into the benevolent ones on these boards. I find I trust the folks on these boards, down in the trenches doing the deed daily more than the developers. Your success, and your candor has given me the notion to try Steam again. The reason I ask is that there is a couple of Forex Steams on myfxbook, and both have done nothing. Radeks performance appears to be stellar. I hope that there is a large adjustment to the settings. If they are small adjustments that tends to imply the systems are not robust and something that's working now may stop when the markets change.Thanks again for anything you may be able to add!

I am going to run this at a risk of .05. Ultra at risk 1.0 is very profitable, if your timing is right, but given that the timing is only known after the fact, I will run at .5 to try and build the account back reasonably quickly. I am setting a custom start date and will not be withdrawing profits so this will be an all or nothing run. Once (if?) I grow it back to 10,000, we may do something else with the account.

For my own historical records, this account traded Kangaroo through 11/9, using both pair. EURUSD runs clobbered it twice. I began trading Forex Hacked (educated) on 11/9 with Kangaroo but only using its AUDUSD. My risk setting on Hacked was too high. I think I now know the right risk level for hacked educated for a lower risk account setting but I'm not going to be able to do much with a couple grand, so I am going to try and build the account back to the 10,000 starting level using Forex Envy Ultra. I know its a bit of a gamble, but...

Your results look good. I am concerned about the master/slave approach you use. I have never achieved comparable results of the trader on a copier service. Due to all the authorization hoops, there is always simply too much lag time between when you get your trade and when I get mine. Could you comment on this concern?Given that your chosen name is so close to a system that you do not care to associate with, can you provide any links on myfxbook (or any other records website) of real users using your system on a real account? I cant tell which ones are with you and which ones are not.

Richbugger;Since you seem to be the only one complaining, have you ever stopped to wonder why you're the only one with the problem? I've never had any authentication issues with FGT for the three months I've been running it. I run a half dozen EA's across 3 different brokers and I can tell you they ALL occasionally drop off momentarily. It could be your internet, their internet, your VPS or computer, their network, a router somewhere in the world, who knows. Deathlord;I really struggle with the thought process and consequences of choosing which pairs to run. The issue always is that I don't know what I don't know. The yen was the problem today, last month it was the pound. As the global currency wars ramp up, every time there's an announcement on who's doing what to their currency, its going to be a problem.Having said that, please keep me posted on what you decide to trade next time and how it works out for you. The account essentially blew out today on a USDJPY run. As of this writing, there's a couple hundred left in the 3,000 account. I plan on communicating with Envy and see if they blew out as well, and how long their run was. I think they may have started theirs 1/2, but I'm not sure. I did capture 6,200 dollars over the 4 days but this is almost too volatile for me as timing appears to be so crucial. I'm going to start it up again Sunday with a risk level of .5 and see how that works.
