Interesting logic.I don't really want to persuade you.I just want to see how people pick their option. I pick option 1 because I am fine tuning my EA and see that with a small increase in DD max allowable, there come a big increase in profit.

I don't have to, I just want more from my money.Consider this two scenarios which is an EA trade for us 100%: 1/ (Setup 4 above 4): profit $37,073 with one or two time the drawdown reach near 56.7% which the traders/investor need to deposit some money to pass through the difficult time (the EA will alert us). 2/ (Setup 7 above): profit $1,831 and the trader/investor just dont have to do anything.I will pick scenario 1.

All traders have to bet on his guess. I bet on not the next move but on how bad it can go against me. Then I will need to take neccessary action to survice.The method defenitely has room to improve.

I said before in other thread, I know my money and I am expanding this busisness, so I trade arcordinglly. Don't depend on adding money too much. You have to really know what you are doing in order to survice and grow.Just continue to watch. 😄

Actually the above is not right since I traded one more day in October (31 Oct) that make the result of October was higher than the above:Profit: $5231.61Currently the account is in 18.6% DD.

October is completed with good result.Begining balance: $20,761.91Total Deposit: $5,000Total Withdraw: $23,500Ending balance: $6493Profit: $4,231.59What is the return this month? I am not sure but it is at least =4231.59/25761.91= 16.42%. It is a good month.

Withdrawed 10,000USD, all the number stay the same (not be affected by withdrawals). If I put this 10,000 back the absolute gain will reduce!Will need come up a better way to evaluate the peformance.

You don't know all my technics so you CAN NOT make the conclusion.I use this technic for better result and when possible (that is why I have said before: "I know my money" and "I am expanding this business"). Clients should be aware and agree upfront if this technic should be used or not, then the trading plan can be established accordingly. Hi SaltyWater,Your calculation is ok if I don't deposit and withdraw very shortly after that.For example, if I deposit $10,000 now and then 1hour later withdraw $10,000, the number would be:Equity = 18250.53 (the same), Withdraw= 12211.07, Deposit= 27342.24Profit= 18250.53 + 12211.07 - 27342.24 = $3119.36 (the same)Total % up = Profit/Deposit = 3119.36/27342.24 = 11.4% much smaller than 17% as before the action of depositing and withdrawing the $10,000) --> It is still not right to me.I think we have to consider the time the money is in the account.
