Complexity of life is stagering. Much more complex than that of our machines and our machines are not evolving by themselves. It is we who are designing them and improving them. There is no evolution of machines. The moment we stop servicing them, they will turn into garbage.

again, it doe snot matter how many planets is there. So far scientists have been able to identify very few Earth like planets if any. Almost all planets found are gas giants akin Jupiter.Also, until life is found on any there is no statistical base to make assumption like CETI does. we might be the only one planet where the life emerged, who knows. Until there is prove to the contrary there is no foundation to think otherwise.

Whatever those geeks do in Ceti does not mean life is there. been watching NG recently and they speak as if it is a forgone conclusion and just a matter of few years. But the truth is we have not been able to find a measly bacteria outside our planet.Humans tend to waste money on useless things. Trillions have been poured into current arrangements like highways, personal transportation and housing with goal to ruin our energy resources in record short time.Current situation is what happens when science goes mad and has no direction and leadership. FYI, no one knows how life emerged and science...

I think we have no statistical data to say there is any life at all outside our planet. it's all pure speculations. I used to be 100% pure Darwinist once as all born and raised in the former USSR were atheists by education. But it all changed. I just wonder how people can think that such complex machinery of life can appear randomly when oor most sofisticated machines cannot come even close in complexity, especially that living machines are self sustained.

one more point. Intelligent doe snot mean wise. I wonder whether macnines will be able to do real thinking. it is still to be seen. I doubt it.With so many robots manual trader can have advantage ;)

Regarding machines. Do not forget the second law of termodinamics aka. enthropy. There will not be robot civilization but we can perish nevertheless. The only thing that can defy the second law is living things and machines will never be like living things. The way of thinking to substitute humans for robot is a very dangerous and also stupid. To whom these capitalists are going to sell goods if only robots work? Robots doe snot need consumption.

Grim, robots are things of our own making. It can be stopped in no time. It is our choice. It is we who are making robots. I do not think there will be Matrix like situation but we can clearly suffer and go extinct due to all complications and most importantly this mechanical thinking that we are not part of this planet's nature.

I believe that this civilization is making majority of people stupid. It is all about comfort and convenience. It is not about slef improvement but about various crutches. I do not need to go far. I see daily school bus bringing children from school. They behave like ones who do not understand that there is pain and danger in the world. some of 5-7 years old unless their momies come walk around driving part of the road like zombies not knowing where to go and what to do. When I was 4 years old, my dad had to look for me everywhere and found me at coal pile throwing coal lumps at other children...

What I need to work on now is to make sure that big swings go only one direction up.I let short trade hit my stop this week while it became clear that mood is bullish and break out to downside is not happening. I had an opportunity to clkose trade at BE twice. I will start cutting losses in this kind of trade at smaller pip count.Had I avoided these initial mistakes I would have been probaly around 40% up now or more.

The thing is I have no strategy but my gut is getting better with time and experience. In the beggining I exper4einced horible emotions swings. I remember feeling huge adrenalin rush even shaking, hope fear the whole panopy of emotions.But at the moemnt I feel no emotions at all when opening closing trade. It is interesting but in December/ January when sufffered a huge losing streak on real money, I lost all my winning for previous 4-5 months plus 6-7% more. I was losing and losing and I was no emotional at all. I was cutting losses and letting profits run which they did not, lol. The problem...

phoneix888, I think with this kind of thinking we are all doomed as a species. It might be looked upon as a small incident but it is perveisive.Once we let machines do our work it can lead us into places we do not wnat to be. We actually can see results around us.The latest crisis was caused by major reason, there is pretty much no opportunities for vast majority of humans even in Western world to make decent living. One of the reason is that so many jobs were lost to automation aka. robots add to this China/ India and we have this sucking sound of jobs leaving not just west but Earth as well....

No wonder you fired them. But I think it all depends upon whether manual trader is good or not. Had your traders were good you would not fired them, period.

I personally trade everything including break outs. The key is to know that break out have less probability than fading break out and profit must be taken quickly with stop moved quickly too for the rest of position. I would say that Forex and oil differes in this regard. Forex in imho, is artificial constract and not a real thing. It is not even a shadow of real thing. Oil on the other hand is the very real thing and the foundation of everything. It tends to move much stronger and I would not do what i used to do with currencies on oil.

So, trader should control your emotions and greed. Good trader actually trades like machine with human brain but no emotions.People do not realize but letting machine do human things they finally will get what they deserve. We live in the age of pigmies. I hardly see any outstanding personalities around. What is so hard to control emotions while trading? Is it easier to go and fight with sword in hand risking life ?

I agree about that. What fun?I had no gray hair just 2 years ago. Now, daily gets up at London open took it's toll. It's good I am not getting up at 2:30 a.m. as I have been doing for almost 2 years every day.

It is clearn from the name. When break out occurs, price does not come back. It nis in very good scenario, otherwise, it still can visit previous s/r area to trigger more orders but then again, it stays above below s/r line. No indicators.

expected break out of triangle, made few tries but closed when there was no continuation. entered again, than added when price confirmed. closed 3/4 position for proft, and got stopped at be on last 1/4. probbly no break out. made 0.7%
