if it were my account I would stay away from gold. Gold is best kept under a mattress not traded in a FX account 😉 I think in an account like this with a specific goal I think I read 4% a day is yours you should aim a little higher. I know it sounds ridiculous but one way is to take a break at 4% come back in a while and start over like its the next day. you may find you can reach your daily goal a few times a day. That is one of the things I am doing. I started with the hope of maintaining 7% a day aiming for 10% I know those are stupid high numbers but by breaking it down I have been able to repeat my system and reach my daily goal multiple times a day. it has shot my daily average way way up.

Yeah, gold it a bit to volatile for a small underfunded account so I wouldn't trade it either - you have enough risk as it is.

one other thing I should add is it looks like whatever you are doing is working for you so you might be better off not taking any

I agree with your comments on gold, it's an extremely volitile pair that I usually stay away from; I usually only trade it on extremely rare occasions, I'm not exactly sure why I've been so gold heavy ever since I started this portofolio. I guess that I've just been seeing opportunities.
I definately wouldn't increase my daily goal, 4% is a lot in the first place, I'd actually feel most comfortable with a goal of 2%/day and will move onto that once I turn this account into a little pile of gold. ;)
I just also tried scalping the Aussie unemployment release. I typically don't trade news but thought I'd give it a shot. Down 4% for the day. It's alright though, I might make some more trades later on in the evening.
