Maryingale is a strategy that requires to double the bet everytime the market goes against the trader.By doubling te position also the risk doubles. Sometimes the market trends for an extended period of time and will kick the traders that does not accept small losses. I prefer money management and using risk/reward at leas 1:2. It depends on traders point of view.

@MoneyCodeAll indicators move with price, so using one or using five is almost the same because they use same data (price). My view is the same, markets are complicated enough, it os better so simplify.

Some come and go real fast.Scams mask themselves as Jesus Christ just to scam others. He was marketing a website that was a scam: promoting to manage others funds but the account was 90% in loss was was using custom start date.He is here but with different username. I believe.

@sasa74 It's a different strategy my friend. It's part of money management and it's not martingale.Excample: I buy two positions on the same time ant treat as one. If stop is 30 pips then first target is 30 pips too. If first target gets hit then the rest of position gets free.A also sometimes buy at two levels 50% and 61.8% but always have a well defined stop.Unlike you that trade weekly charts I trade much shorter charts and I must have different approach to money management.

The most important things professional traders teach:1. Trend is your friend.2. Cut losses short and let profits run.3. Never add to a loosing position.4. Always have an exit strategy (stop loss)Martingale does exactly the opposite of that. It might recover your account once, it might recover twice, but one thing for sure, someday it will blow your account.

It is possible it is grid.I've been trading with FXCM UK for 5 years. They are no bucket shop if the account is no desk dealing. Meaning trades will go through liquid providers, broker collects the spread. It is also possible for traders to have desk dealing account but the max. account size is 25,000 so this account can't be.If some one finds a way for arbitrage with FXCM, the trades won't be canceled. I am sure. It is also possible to collect 10-20 pips if orders are used and there is a big market news. As soon as the trade opens the price hits TP.'As it is a PAMM account I ...

@sasa74 Well some people have no trading capabilities, all they can do is try to sell so called trading products or copy/paste worthless books. Unfortunately a man like Bob can't be man enough to move away.In his version of reality he is the smartest guy and the best trader, but has only words, nothing more.As I said earlier: real traders don't need advice from demo guys. (and the only demo guy is Bob)

Based on facts, the only "would be trader" is you. Everyone else is a trader of some sort and has a positive approach on trading. No one else here is trying to teach the others or trying to sell their "research stuff". Only you.Martingale strategy is not yours, it is at leas 400 years old. Don't feel bad when someone disagree or shows the risks involved. If you have a good strategy and a perfect "recovery strategy" keep it for yourself, no one else doesn't want it.Please stay away.
