This morning the EA closed all open positions on EURGBP causing a loss over USD1,600. Totally different from his account. 😡

Since the author of the EA recommended the broker OctaFX for his EA, I went to check the Client Agreement from this broker. It raised my concern on clause 4.9. With this clause the broker has the right to null all profits earned by the EA.4.9. This sure reminded me of Forex World Cup Competition where they combined winning EAs into one EA called Fusion...do you guys still remember? Looks like the same marketing hype being used...as they always said.."history repeats itself"...I also have doubts about the broker used..FX Choice....hmmmm

Looking at the trade history, looks like a grid trading with same lot size when the price moved in opposite direction from the initial open trade.

Ken Grakauskas and JellyBaby,Thanks for your kind input....I was tempted to make the purchase in June, but I've hold back because Open Trades was marked Private and there is no information on PnL of these open trades, so I told myself to consider purchase in Aug. Guess it didn't survive.

I've installed the EA on ThinkForex Demo but not having the same trade as show in this MyFXBook. I'm using VPS, running the EA 24 by 7 since early of last week.I have requested several times the correct settings from William, the developer of this EA, but he turned dumb.If you have the same trades as shown in this MyFxBook, could you please share the settings. Thanks.

I bought the version 2.3 and ran back test on several brokers, including Alpari UK, over the past 5 years price data, the equity curve is not what they shown on their website. It's is choppy side way like equity curve, even on Alpari UK. Of course, I ran the back test during the weekdays when the market is opened. They claimed that they will setup a real money account for forward testing but till now, they have yet to honor their words. They are dishonest. Stay away from them.

Yes, agreed. They've implement the money management wrongly on this EA. The risk % should be based on the worst scenario where the EA open 1x +1x + 3x == 5x. When all these three trades failed, it's still within the intended Risk %. But the EA used Risk % for 1x trades, this implies when the EA opens 5x (1 + 1 + 3 ) trades, the risk is 5 times more than intended. This has caused the recent huge loss in profit. Instead of using the risk %, I used the fixed lot size for this EA.

So far on our Alpari UK real money account, we do not incur any losses on the 3x trades. We also tried SS on Go Markets but there are more 3x trades than on Alpari UK. On Go Markets, the 3x trades ended in losses. But hardly see any 3x trade on Alpari UK account until this week. Between 8 and 9 Nov, SS opened two 1x trades and one 3x trades. But all three trades closed with a small net gain. Guess the performance of the EA is dependent on broker's data feed. BTW, I'm using fixed lot size rather than Risk percent that someone has modified and shared on a public forum.

Do you manually disable the EA before Red coded news affecting EUR and USD? On my Alpari UK account, there was a losing trade that was opened just an hour before Fed rate yesterday but your account does not have the similar trade..

Seemed like you have disabled trading on Friday. I have a few trades on Fri and ended with a small loss. But your statement does not have any trades open on 29 Oct 2010. My broker is also Alpari UK.

You have your statement saved on your desktop and we cannot access your C: Drive.But Smart Scalper has been generating profits for us on Alpari UK and Go Markets, both are real money accounts. Guess Smart Scalper is dependence on brokers' platforms.
