One other possibility of the non-correlated price action and hitting of stops is the high probability of the ticks not being received by mt4 due to a high latency. High latency in this case would be anything over about 1-2ms.

If that is the case, then they would have to stall all orders occurring anywhere near the price range in the same direction. Anything is possible.

this is the main reason why i always change the magic number and comment. It isn't absolutely perfect, but it does help to bypass any nasty tricks.

Okay one guy. Now....any thought of him doing work for free....be serious. He is going to be giving himself a paycheck. If you are considering the paycheck the MDP sales, then his "wages" would be exceedingly high.....but.....let's figure approximate minimum wage/week of $200. It has been available to the public for over 20 weeks, but let's make it only 20 weeks and ignore any previous work done. And let's ignore any of those trivial expenses like marketing, etc. We have a total cost of.....$4000!!!! So.....again.......thousands.

guess I need to clarify again. The development and implementation of MDP as an EA could easily have been done by one person for no cost other than time. The actual costs add up to thousands when you look at having to pay people for their time. So if you hire a single programmer to make it....let's say it cost $250. All done. no more charges. No paying anyone for further development. no paying anyone to provide support. No paying for internet sales and marketing. Now, how many people have seen that there has been further development, support, sales and marketing, etc.....that would require ...

And just how much would you say it is going to cost to hire the programmers (who you can absolutely trust will not rip you off), plus the marketing, plus the tech support, plus pay for continued development, plus pay for the website, and payment providers? It is thousands of dollars. That said, I guarantee he has made it all back probably 50-100 times over. But it would be an expensive undertaking.

Maybe you don't realize this, but what you are asking for is a managed account. You want someone to spend many thousands of dollars to streamline the whole process for you......allow you to pay a $100 one time fee.....and sit back while you make thousands of dollars. If he were to do this, the price for the EA would have to be much much higher. For what you are asking, a $10,000 one time fee would be reasonable. The forex business is about making money, not helping people.

Well, it's like this..... He sold the EA to people who are willing to try and trade it profitably on their own. Everyone has been having huge trouble with it. So...he saw another opportunity to make money by setting up a service to assist the people who can't get it running on their own. Why does everyone find this such a bad thing? Not unless you read through this entire forum. There is very important information in this forum that will help you make your decision. Not just the first half either....or the last half.....the entire forum. If you read the whole thing (getting close to 150 pages) you will understand what you are getting into with MDP.

Okay, so we are talking about different things. We are both correct. The confusion is because you are talking about something different than I am. You are speaking of the constantly moving market in relation to the speed of order execution. I am talking about liquidity and the imbalance inherent in the system which causes the market to move.

I don't know about everyone else, but I blew MDP off when i first checked them out when they came out on the market specifically because they claimed to show live results, but had a demo account posted. The reason I got MDP was because I knew people who used it and were making money with it....and posted results from LIVE trading.Nobody does anything in forex without showing proof of some sort. The only people who don't show proof are either trying to take you money and run or......hmmmm... no, I guess that is it....take your money and run. Other than that, they allow you to use the sy...

That is part of the point. The "unlimited liquidity" is only a theory and cannot happen in the real world....in any market. You gotta remember, unlimited liquidity is ONLY a theory. Only useful for explaining how the market moves.
