I know couple of profitable EAs that scalp for few pips only. They always trade on patterns with high probability, and do trailing stop which involves keep modifying the SLs until you make profit. I do believe some people do it manually, but it would be very demanding & stressful.

Hi Dirk,nice ea dirk. I wrote a similar ea that employs hedging+grid+martingale strategy before, trades cable(GBP/USD), offers 6-12% pm, uses 0.01 lot size, 50 pips grid size, can sustain up to 7-9 levels before margin call (very similar like yours, judging by the history). My ea blew up the account in the back test if the trend is heading only one direction. Eventually I gave up the ea and look for some other better strategies.I've read some interesting topics about traders use hedging+grid+martingale still able to beat the market without blowing up the accounts for couple of years. if you want to do scalping, you have to control your losses , too many losses will eventually blow your account.

Hi Eddy,The performance is looking great, it seems like the frequency of your trading strategy is not aggressive, but it reaps handsome profit. do you trade manually or using an ea? and I notice the way you cut your losses in just few seconds only ( 2 losses so far, and the trades were lesser than a minute) or you set SL to 5/6 pips to protect the profit?Thanks!

just crious, does it employ martigale strategy? because I see several orders closed at once and the lotsize varies also
